bookshelves: mystical-real-or-mythical, dystopian
Continuing with this dystopian future series, where the divide between the wealthy and poor has taken a step back in time. Now knowing our young scrappy protagonist, a series of unfortunate events sure do unravel, some of it is definitely self-inflicted. As with all reads of this genre, it was easier to understand having listened to the foundation read.

I’m just enjoying this series for what it is, it fills in my long car trips to and from work well. ]]>

So I did think that this was going to be a funny “accidentally killed someone, oh crap, what do we do?, kind of read. But the protagonist and whole read in general was one steaming hot mess, so many parts were just out right ludicrous. This read missed the mark for me.

Not every read is for everyone, but this read might be right for you. ]]>

Set in a dystopian future, where the divide between the weathy and poor has taken a step back time. The young filithy mouthed protagonist, was pretty cringe but had a heart of gold. I wanted to like this more than I did, I will check #2 out to see if the character grows.

Borrowbox unfortunely wasn’t clear that this is a YA read. ]]>
