dont get me wrong there was absolutely nothing wrong with this book, but it still stands to be a very short novella so there was obviously no depth to it !

After finishing the current books out in this series for now, i can truly say how incredibly sad that there aren't any books coming out soon in this world. having to close this book, and in part having to say goodbye to these characters who have become like home to me, made me feel like i was saying bye to them forever. basically i am very very much in love with this world, so here are some of my thoughts on the series as a whole so far ...

the characters are definitely what make this series so loveable. i haven't read such a strong found family dynamic in ages, everyone was so adamant on helping each other and being there for them in all the ways. Ridoc was one of my coup de coeur for sure, i feel like we actually got to understand him more in Onyx Storm for the first time. i truly feel like in this book the characters developed so so so much, to the point where we can't even compare them to book one !

You are the temple where i worship.

i can't go further without talking about Violet and Xaden, because i adore them so much that i can't go a second without talking about them. i feel like they definitely got the brunt of all the problems in this book, and they still stayed together without a hint of a doubt towards the other. and that is exactly what i want in a relationship.

I'm jealous of the armor that hols you when i can't, the sheets on your bed that caress your skin every night, and the blades that feel your hands.

the plot was absolutely insane, whoever says that the only plot point was at the end of the book has lied to you, because this book was so intricate. especially in the smaller details, that tended to resurface later in. also please please if someone knows what the last scene meant, tell me ! because i spent all of last night trying to think about what it could mean.

overall, this series is definitely a five star series in my mind. i love every single part of each book and i cannot wait for us to get more details about the release date of the fourth book ! ˚₊۶ৎ˙��
