Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage
"What a great conclusion to such a fun series!

Cam and Dusty are up there with Teddy and Gus. Loved their second chance romance, especially the flashback high school scenes.

Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
"Emily Henry's Great Big Beautiful Life was every bit as charming and witty as her previous novels, however the storyline is different enough to make the reading experience a little less easy-breezy and more speed-read in anticipation.

The thing I enjoy most about Henry's work is that the plots are character driven. Our two vying writers, Alice and Hayden fall into each other almost effortlessly. Their interactions and engaging banter flow from rivals-friends?-lovers in a way that if you skim it, you'll miss that subtle transition. It was very sweet.

In between our two love interests sits legendary heiress, Margaret Ives. Her story, and the history of her family is legendary and has trickled its way into our protagonist history.
-
Now, this isn't going to be one of my top faves from Henry. As I said, her writing and characters are *chefs kiss*, its hard not to enjoy her stories. However, this particular story felt a little too similar to another great book about interviewing a reclusive celebrity icon and their hidden agendas - It was hard not to compare.
Also, the story chapters felt a little info-dumpy. At times I was a little lost with the history of the Ives family, it felt like research for a quiz (remember this key year! remember this name!).
And the twist at the end, was a little predictable. sorry Ms. Henry! I still adore you.

All in all, this book had some really sweet moments between Alice and Hayden, and I loved the exploration of the relationship between Alice and her mother, and the overriding discussion of fate and choices.

*Thanks to the publisher and Booktopia Books for the ARC*"
