3⭐️ kinda
the first half was really cute and funny
but there was so much unnecessary spice
and i don’t mind spice but this felt like a rom com with forced spice
i ended up not liking it much towards the end and just being glad that i was done with it ]]>

Skyshade by Alex Aster
"Book 3 of the Lightlark series - we see Isla back with Grim in Nightshade. Torn apart by her decision to leave Oro. With all their past revealed she continues to struggle with her heart belonging to both rulers. However things start to occur and the threats of old prophecies mean that Isla’s work is far from done. Deadly storms and horrible beasts start to plague the land. With so many forces working against her, can Isla save the land and the men she loves? Also can her soul remain with all that she has done?

I have been excitedly waiting for this book! I thought it was going to be the finale! Instead there are two more books after and I’m almost a little disappointed. I feel this book was dragged out in order to have more sequels. I will also admit that I am not a fan of love triangles, and this book reinforces that, but I’m committed. Ends on a cliffhanger, although not the one I thought it would be. Not my favourite in the series. But would I read the next one? Yes. "
