This was my first A.L. Jackson book & definitely will not be my last! I loved this couple & their story so much.

Don’t Forget Me Tomorrow is book 2 in the Time River Series, following Ryder & Dakota. Dakota is a single mom who owns a market/bakery in Time River & Ryder is her brother’s best friend who she’s always had a little crush on. Ryder has always been super protective over Dakota so when she calls him late one night when someone tries to break into her house, Ryder brings Dakota & her son Kayden to stay with him for a while. Ryder struggles because he knows he should keep his distance from his best friends little sister but he’s always felt a deep connection to her. So what happens when they can no longer deny how they really feel?

Y’all already know how much I absolutely love the brother’s best friend trope & this might just be one of my new faves I’ve read. Ryder was pure perfection. He was possessive, caring, thoughtful, & definitely has a filthy mouth on him 🥵 I loved how he was so protective of not only Dakota but Kayden too. It was so sweet how good he was with her son. Dakota was such a strong & independent FMC. I loved that she stood up for herself & what she knew she deserved.

I can’t wait to not only go back & read book 1 but also to continue the series! I’m loving it so far 👏🏼
