Well, I'm conflicted on this. The heroine is an adventurous and resourceful doll, but she regards anyone who is not white as primitive and childish. I wanted to read this classic children's book because I saw it had been banned in some Florida schools. Pretty soon all books will be pulled from shelves and we can read cereal box labels for entertainment.
