My attention span is nonexistent these days so I went for a collection of short stories, only to wonder if maybe Murakami is at his best when he has an entire novel to get weird. These stories didn’t do much for me. I can only hope something was lost in translation, but as is, I’m just not enthralled by reminiscing about the “wet vagina� of some near-stranger the narrator raw dogged in college. ]]>
