"Shattered Silence is a great representation of someone who has been put down finally making a break and standing up for themselves.

Huxley sees Raine in trouble and steps in to protect her. Along the way some of his secrets are revealed and Raine has to decide if she can trust him or not. There is a good amount of spice and the story was fast paced and interesting. "

"Wilder's Obsession is the fifth book in the Monsters of New York series. The book pulls you in from the first page with an unimaginable tragedy and keeps you turning the pages as Wilder and Arwen find each other and their happily ever after. If these books ended any other way I would not be able to handle it as the characters go through so much that their pain is palpable, until they find their fated mates. There are obstacles even once their mate is found but then we discover the beauty of the mate bond. If only it were real.

Arwen and Wilder's story struck a chord, not sure why but it did. The storyline is solid with drama, steaminess, romance, action, and lots of naughtiness. It all keeps you turning the pages.
