i loved that this book was not majorly glorified. as things progressed with johnny and shannon, things at home stayed the same for her, which was sad but very truthful. it did feel repetitive at times as so many of the same phrases were used (probably purposefully and with intent) but still made a lot of it feel the same. overall these characters are special and i did genuinely laugh at times so four stars🎀
