Here’s the thing�� I rate books purely based on vibes. I could be technical all day long, but nah. I’m not grading papers, I’m having fun and reading what entertains me!!

I was thoroughly entertained by this book!! There was never a dull moment in this The Bachelor, meets The Selection, meets a smidge of ACOTAR (yes I said it)! I had a good dang time!!

I came into this book with a love hate relationship with Joey and finished it totally in love with him! So many times I wanted to throw this book across the room because of the crap Joey pulls in this book, but I loved Aoife too much to quit reading. I’m so glad I stuck with it. Who doesn’t love a book about dragons? I had the pleasure of reading this as an arc and it didn’t disappoint. There is definitely a lot of world building in this book, so the vibe is chill for the majority of the book, however, the world is so interesting and the characters are as well, so I never got bored.
I’m looking forward to continuing the series.
