I feel so conflicted about this review! I was completely gripped by this book, having avoided knowing anything about it when it was hyped up. I think it was a great read but (and it's a big but) there were a couple of things that were so frustrating.

This was written as a rom com, and a saucy love triangle, but it was just infuriating. Lily made some really terrible decisions (and this isn't me victim blaming, bear with me and these possible spoilers) but marrying someone you hardly know, beginning to date a man you can see has a furious temper, etc etc. After what Lily had been through with her own parents, then (definitely a spoiler ahead) giving Ryle equal custody to the child she is trying to protect?

I also felt that Atlas had been drawn as too-perfect, the ultimate manly man with a soft heart but the ability to fight off your enemies. There was no chemistry there for me, particularly during the teenage flashbacks.

However I did love a lot of things.
