Pauline started reading Intermezzo

"A series of short stories in which Bingo repeatedly falls in love and Bertie Wooster gets himself into a number of difficult situations. Jeeves of course rises to each occasion and fixes all the problems, often benefitting himself along the way. No wonder Bertie looks upon him as some sort of saviour despite the fact that they disagree so decidedly on accessories.

This is an early entry in the Jeeves and Bertie books and the characters are not quite as developed as they are later, but the humour is certainly there. All good fun and a very easy read.
