"3.5 | Was it a nostalgia trap? Maybe! But it stands well enough on its own! Nevertheless, the main thing that kept me going with the book was wanting to understand why Haymitch becomes an alcoholic (like....I knew the memories of the games would drive any person mad but what else. I thought the cameos of OG characters were a little unneeded and the Lenore x Haymitch love story was meh. Believable but lacking much depth.

Guess I'll rewatch the series now that I'm done"
