I was so excited for this book. At first it felt a little slow and dull and filled with big fancy rich and important people’s names, but I thought it was because it had to go through her early years and a lot had to be laid out. Halfway through I started to get worried because it hadn’t picked up but the name dropping was continuous. Three quarters through, I knew I had a klunker on my hands that was filled with endless chapters in small print. But I trudged on. I ended up skimming (or speed reading like Anna does) through the last quarter of the book looking for something interesting, which I never found. In this case, you should judge a book by its cover - boring! Anna Wintour seems to be a person nobody needs to get to know. She seems just awful. ]]>
