A Korean immigrant family is running a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber business out of a barn in their backyard to treat people with various medical conditions. Sounds bizarre, but this HBOT therapy really does exist.

The book is centered around a trial that takes place a year after a tragic incident in this HBOT “submarine.�

Chapters go back and forth in time and focus on each of the people involved, showing how each could have had a motive. Pretty much everyone lies and the truths that finally come out are devastating.

Interesting premise and well-written, but I can’t say that I enjoyed it all that much. Dragged on too long and was repetitive. 3.5 rounded down
