My brain dumped thoughts: I can’t believe they made this average woman out to be an insane person. Her parents should go to prison for ruining her life. “I am Britney Spears now�� is so deeply disturbing. I can’t believe this happened to her. no wonder she reverted to a child like state because they treated her like a child by taking away her rights and responsibilities. the way they controlled her life reminds me of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, a little bit where her life wasn’t even her own and they forced her into unnecessary treatments. it’s unbelievable that her parents could get away with this as a legal thing that could’ve happened. I don’t even understand how the courts could have allowed this just because she was doing a few “irresponsible�� things she should’ve never been put into that position of assumed incompetency. Also, not that this is a revelation, but it’s insane. The double standards that she was met with between men and women. Her behavior would’ve been completely fine if she was a man. Jamie Lynn is also so diabolical. It genuinely seems like they wanted to kill her like they gained pleasure from it. The way she was punished into submission was absolutely insane. Her family members are pure evil.

4.5/5 this was so good. It was so witty and well-written. I really loved both the characters and the relationship that they had. The writing was super endearing and the characters had such good teasing and banter. Looking forward to reading the next one.

This book was super mid. I didn’t find the characters or their relationship to be very interesting. Nothing happened that made me really fall in love with them. I think I also just don’t love when the initial meet cute is them hooking up, because I feel like they don’t ever fully get to know each other, their interest in each other is just desire. So I found their love story to be a bit boring and not very compelling. It wasn’t bad, I just wouldn’t necessarily recommend.

3.5/5 this was really cute. I had no idea going into it how much of a romance it was. I feel like it hadn’t been advertised as a romance by the book girlies but it definitely is. The overall tone and narration came off as a bit juvenile but it was mostly just silly and unserious so I didn’t necessarily dislike it. It was comical how random mature content or words would pop in out of no where. I don’t think I would’ve liked this as much if I had read it physically because it’s not very high stakes but it was a really enjoyable audiobook and I’m glad I read it and am looking forward to the next one.
