I really enjoyed the audio format and the relationship between Samantha and Xavier, but the book itself felt a bit short and lacked the typical character depth I love from Abby Jimenez. The storyline was predictable, leaning into a cute, traditional romance style which wasn't my personal preference, and I was not a fan of the home care aspect.
However, if you enjoy a shorter, cutesy, and predictable romance, this might still be a good fit, especially in audio!"

I’m being a little generous with the 3 stars, probably more like 2.5.

This book wasn’t bad, my rating isn’t low because it was bad per se, but it wasn’t my type. It was super cute, very meet-cute traditional romance style which is a little boring for me. Writing was fine, no issues there. The characters were cute and I didn’t have any problems there. But the storyline was predictable. Early on I could predict a lot of what was going to happen.
