I listened to the audio version of this book, which was well done. But I didn’t like the book overall. There are definitely some interesting concepts that I’d like to work toward. But overall, the philosophy seemed to be “ignore the past, ignore your trauma, pull yourself up by your bootstraps and make a great life.� It completely ignored systemic impediments that some might face that make that attitude harder and unfair. Never even acknowledged that or spoke of it.
