I *loved* this and will definitely use it as a reminder/refresher and re-read it as I need to.
Brene Brown narrates this herself and you can hear the experience, emotion and passion she has for what she's writing and imparting to the world. Her work is so important and is so important to consume and understand.
Highly recommend! ]]>

Rule of the Aurora King by Nisha J. Tuli
"I really enjoyed this sequel! Slow burn, tons of intrigue and easy light world building. I’m loving Nadir and Lor and can’t wait to keep reading the series. "

Rule of the Aurora King by Nisha J. Tuli
"This was an excellent follow up to Trial of the Sun Queen. We get plenty more Nadir which is something I really wanted in the last book! I also really enjoyed the new POV we got! While overall it was a little predictable, I really enjoyed that because it checks all the boxes that I want in a romantasy!"

I had such a great time reading this series, but I strongly feel that this series didn't need to be four full books and could've been an amazing trilogy.

I enjoyed the conclusion, book 4 - Tale of the Heart Queen, of this series, however, it didn't feel completely cohesive to the rest of the series. I felt like the rules and the story and the writing changed within this book. The beginning part and some of the end parts (you know who you are!) were quite jarring for me to read and kept taking me out of the world.

I do still love our two main characters and their love, devotion and resilience for eachother and I did like how it tied up emotionally and nicely. I loved the storyline in Aphelion, though it was difficult and heart breaking as well, it made a lot of sense to me within the rules and history of the world.

I would LOVE a spinoff novel for Gabriel and Hylene though... ]]>

Tale of the Heart Queen by Nisha J. Tuli
"Listen, this was good - but... I don't think this needed to be 4 books. I think if it was 3 books and each one had a little more info, that would have done the trick. Full RTC. 3.5 Stars.

Thank you to Netgalley and Forever publishing for a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
This was a total 5 stars for me and is likely the favorite of the series for me! I would 100% re-read this one, even just for the nostalgia and when I’m missing the characters <3

I loved how the world opened up for us and we got to see more of Ouranos besides Aphelion and the prison - the world building has been so fun here! Not only do we learn more about the world but we also learn a lot more about the magic and the rules around the magic. We also got an insider’s look into the Aurora, as the title would suggest, which allowed danger and intrigue. These are the parts that are so fun for me to read!

We got to see more of Nadir and the other characters in the Aurora, and to see how and maybe why the relationships develop between them. The intrigue, the spice, the danger was all really enticing and a lot of fun to read. These parts were both frustrating and alluring, I couldn’t put this book down!

I felt like the pacing and the writing of this book was just right, we slowed down at the parts that were needed and it was fast-enough paced to be un-put-down-able!

Overall, the first two books of this series have been so fun and would recommend them to any romantasy lover!
