I really liked parts of this and really wasn't sure about others. It was funny and real and often made me pause after a reading session to mull over my emotions and thoughts - but it also wasn't TOO funny or TOO snarky or TOO high stakes, so I was never really sure how much I cared about the actual book & plot. It also took the UU faith, which can already seem to outsiders like it is sort of aimless in its creedlessness, and kinda did it a disservice.
