I actually really enjoyed this. It’s been pretty hard for me to sit down and read a book in one setting, but this one had my attention from chapter 1.

I love the FMC, Hazel, she did the thing that most of us can only dream of doing. She left the city and bought a beautiful historic building and remodeled it to a book lovers dream. Seriously, I think about doing something like that every freaking day of my life.

Honestly, I’m so happy I went into this before reading the reviews because people are being so unnecessarily negative about this book and it’s really not that deep. This book won’t be for everyone, but if you like a slower paced day to day kind of book I think you’ll enjoy this (these are my favorite type of romance novels). It can be boring for some people, but I actually think the daily details are pretty entertaining and really help you grow to love the characters more.

But one thing I will note is that Cam, the mmc, is not my favorite. He definitely needed some more character development that wasn’t so hastily wrapped up and shoved into the plot. Although I do believe he does make up for it in the end. "
