So. I was enjoying the shit out of this cute little meet-cute. I liked how they felt very enemies to lovers most of the book.. The single POV was fine, made sense.. this was going to be 4 stars, easy. And then 1 fucking paragraph ruined it.
(view spoiler)[I want to find the author and shake them. WEATHER DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. While storms, especially in the winter, may stretch from Michigan and the finger lakes to Boston. It does not EVER travel West. I have lived in NJ, in Florida, in Ohio. Like. I don't know if me being interested in the weather.. Y'all. The JETSTREAM would have to FUCKING REVERSE! You KNOW HOW THAT HAPPENS? THE WORLD START SPINNING THE OTHER FUCKING DIRECTION.

There was really no reason to make it work that way except to like make it difficult for Alex to get back and you could STILL have done that. There could have been lake effect snow. The storm could be clear in Michigan and still delay Alex on the east coast. SHIT, the storm doesn't even have to be that big for air travel to get totally screwed up. (For example: NYC was having a wind event, all flights in and out of Newark Airport were delayed and it was causing significant ripple effects across the country, some flights were cancelled even, hell my own was on a 4 hour delay.) I get this is such a small, tiny, stupid thing to tank my review. But it made me mad, so mad. It took me right out of the book.. I'm still mad. I'm considering not reading the rest and I only read this because I wanted to get into the series as the others looked good. Now I'm hesitant.
