There was much about this book I loved even though the main character is a bit over the top about everything. I did like the medical info, the menopause info, the info on women's bodies and what happens as they age because I've either experienced some of it or my friends have or I have learned it in one of the many books I've read so it rang true to me. I loved her relationship with her daughter and how much she cared for her babies although I thought some of the parts about the her relationship with the kids when they were babies was a little much. In many ways she was a little much as was some of the info in the novel but it was a fast enjoyable read.

By page 78 I gave up. Nothing particularly wrong and if I had finished it, probably would have given it 2 stars. When I was young I would have just finished it even though it really wasn't doing much for me but now there is just not enough time left and so many books to read, that I just can't spend as much time as I would have to to finish it. Nothing about it was overly interesting and I wasn't enamored with any of the characters or the story line.

It was fairly good in some parts but all in all just a bit over OK. Wanted to finish it because some of it I felt was on point but mostly I just wanted to be done. Wasn't really crazy about any of the characters. Dementia. Read on Kindle
