It's honestly been a long time since I've picked up a good family drama but oof. This one did it. I've never read anything by Tracey Lange before but after this, you can be sure I'm dig deeper into her entire backlist.

I felt so much for these two people who share a very complicated and messy history but who you can tell still love/care about one another in a very profound way. Lange's writing is so compelling and feels so real that I felt myself completely invested in this story and once you find out what happened to these two to make them go their separate ways, you can't help but feel even MORE for them.
