Andddd.we’re off to an explosive start to a new series! As with any new LLV books that hits my kindle, I read this in just a matter of hours. Totally unable to put it down!

I was still in a book hangover from the Semyonov series, so I couldn’t wait to start this new series that is tied into it. Dr. Chevy Clayborne is an anesthesiologist, member of the Truth Tellers MC, and the embodiment of the definition of grumpy. Aella is a surgery tech that has been put through more in her short life than anyone deserves. She is beautiful, smart, and unbeknownst to her, very much on the gorgeous doctor’s radar.

This book is more of a slow burn between Chevy and Aella, but the story itself is fast paced and full of twists and turns that you don’t see coming. Chevy proves that he will love and protect her no matter the costs. Aella proves that she will love him no matter what he does in life as long as he loves her unconditionally. I don’t want to say too much and reveal what happens. This is one story you’ll need to read for yourself.

This story has all the classic LLV traits to it. It’s full of laughter, love, and family, with a side of suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Quipped with her comical chapter headings and her quirky sense of humor, this new series is off to a FANTABULOUS start! All these new characters that I can’t wait to dive into and learn more about.

Rooster is book two in the Las Vegas Chapter of the Cerberus MC by Marie James and can be read as a standalone, but is interconnected with the first book.

Rooster/Robert is your typical IT/hacker. Nerdy, sweet, a little shy, oh! and an evil identical twin that's out to ruin his life. This go around, Morgan has a short fling with Henry but called things off quickly and he doesn't take too kindly to that. Little does she know, she's just a pawn that Henry is using to play, yet another game, with his brother.

Things I loved about the book: I definitely loved the twin aspect of things and how Rooster has struggled to get ahead of his brother, only to always be a few steps behind. I loved the camaraderie, although I feel there's still a lot to overcome with these guys. They have a very different vibe from the OG New Mexico chapter, as well as the new Tennessee chapter. I loved the suspense and the twists and turns. Loved seeing the OG guys and their wives make an appearance.

Things I didn't love about the book: It was a slow start for me. I just wasn't feeling a connection at all with the story. I felt things between Rooster and Morgan were a little high schoolish in the beginning. The "oh does he/she like me or not" got a little old for me. But things did pick up and I definitely was able to get into the book more and finished it quickly.

Well, this story gives new meaning to the term “edging because that’s exactly how I felt through this entire story LOL! Twice as Forbidden is an age gap, forced proximity, forbidden love story and I’m here for it all day long.

Georgia is excited to have a paid internship with her boyfriend, Noah’s, dad’s company for the summer. Anything to keep her from going home to the monster that her mother married. Only she didn’t expect two things to happen1) she didn’t expect to break up with said boyfriend on the way to his dad’s home, and 2) his dad, Jackson. From the get go you can feel the chemistry oozing off the pages between Georgia and Jackson.

There was a whole lot of story packed within these pages and I loved every single second of it. From the forbidden, super spicy parts to the the blackmailing suspense parts. This one definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. If you have trigger warnings, I recommend you check them first, but overall, I couldn’t get enough of this story. I was so engrossed, I didn’t realize my relief at work had shown up lol. I admit I did feel bad for Noah at first, and I definitely want to know the backstory with his mom. Hopefully with his book, all that will come out and bring light to why he is the way he is. I am absolutely looking forward to it. Great read.

The Way We Score is book three in the Tia Louise’s Bradford Boys series, but my actual first to read in the series. That will quickly be taken care of because I will definitely be back tracking and reading the first two as well.

I'm always a sucker for a high school sweethearts second chance romance. Garrett and Liv are destined to be together. Neither have seen the other since they went off to separate colleges all those years ago, but are both home for Garrett's little sister and Liv's best friend, Dylan's wedding. Laying eyes on each other and all those feelings come rushing back and spending a night together seems like a great idea. Determined to make amends and get her back, Garrett does everything he can to prove to Liv that he never stopped loving her, especially when those 2 pink lines show up! Liv is nervous to tell him, but Garrett is estatic.

I loved this book so much. All the Bradfords, plus all the secondary characters just made this entire story so wonderful. I can't wait for more!

I came into this series with book three, Garrett and Liz’s story. Even though I haven’t had a chance to go back and read the first two, I knew I couldn’t wait to read Hendrix’s story.

Hendrix Bradford, professional football player who can’t seem to get the beautiful, curvy woman he spent the weekend with at his little sister’s wedding out of his mind. It’s been a little over a year and he still thinks about her frequently. Getting called home doesn’t seem like that big of a deal, until he sees the before mentioned woman at his family’s restaurant with an adorable little girl on her hip that looks shockingly like him.

This story was fantastic. I loved how Raven made her goal to never give up on her dream while finding balance as a single mom. I absolutely adored how Hendrix, the self proclaimed bachelor for life embraced fatherhood and the plan to marry Raven so she could get her inheritance. I also loved that the longer they were in his house and together, the more it actually felt like a home and he wanted them there always. And little Haddy…she stole the show on every single page she was a part of lol. Everything about this story was chef’s kiss! I am so ready for Jack’s story. I will be over here impatiently waiting LOL!

"This one's for you. You know who you are."

The Prodigal Son is the fourth booth in this series, but the first book I have read. Man, do I have A LOT of catching up to do! I will be going back and reading the other books in this series.

Isaac (Theo) and Jensen both have very traumatic pasts, but both have managed to somewhat move on and have successful careers. But both are extremely lonely and not completely happy. They meet at one of Theo's concerts and the rest is history. These two had chemistry for days, but I loved how they became friends first, even if their whole relationship seemed warp speed lol.

This book touched on some very real, deeply emotional issues and was handled extraordinarily well in my opinion. Their story is reaches out and grabs you around the heart and makes you see that no matter how desolate life may seem, there's always hope for better and that love always wins. Isaac and Jensen's path to love is a gripping, emotional roller coaster that is full of heartbreak, love, faith and hope.

Dark, Deadly and Erotic

Nico’s story is here and it is all the darkness that readers expect from Jagger Cole. He definitely starts out as a character difficult to like, even if he seems as if he is the ultimate sexy bad boy. As the story continues though, he redeems himself and eventually he becomes another protective, intense and dangerous member of the Barone family who has different personas he shows to different people in his world. This book has definitely moments of brutality and evil, but is balanced well with the moments of passion, love and compassion between not only the couple themselves, but Nico’s relationship with his family.

Crimson Edge has arrived!!

It’s time to rock and Crimson Edge is definitely the one to do it with…intense, passionate and musicians to the core. This band may be just starting to make a name for themselves but their popularity is taking off, unfortunately that can sometimes lead to some missteps along the way. Sometimes the past and its secrets aren’t meant to become public knowledge and sometimes they aren’t that big of a deal, except they have a way to snowballing out of control. Readers get ready for some characters written with depth, realism and just enough fantasy, that you will wish you could be the one on tour with them!

Starts fake…but ends up true

There are a lot of “fake dating becomes a real relationship stories out there but this one is a bit different. I love the way these two cross paths and wind up in this situation where they are now an engaged couple. It’s not a meet up readers will have read before and it really makes this book quite different and memorable! There are moments that readers will smile and love, but within the joy this book creates through the characters there is a piece of seriousness that is handled with care. I loved this latest installment in the Wild Fire series and look forward to the next book!

I love all things Teagan Hunter and especially her Seattle Serpents stories! She's created such a fun family with these hockey boys and the fiesty gals who fall for them!

I couldn't wait to get my hot little hands on Fox's book since we first met him in the series! He is Southern charm at its finest! Sweet, funny, and a total "good boy"! When Lilah needs a helping hand to get her Godawful parents off her back, of course, it's good guy Fox who steps in to help our girl out.

This fake engagement story has a few unique quirks, and I'm here for it. Lilah and "Artie" are silly, sweet, and super sexy! Suddenly, nothing about their relationship feels fake!

Omgosh, I fell so hard and fast for this story and didn't want to put it down! Loved every second and cannot wait for the next one with that mysterious sneak peak at the end!
