I like this, I love the characters and setting and Babalola—someone I follow on twitter so she’s totally a friend, obvs—writing style overall feels very real, fun and funny. It was pretty strong throughout, just noting that the only reason this took me a bit to complete is because I decided to take it on both as audio (love Weruche Opia btw) while also reading, and my attention span could not keep it up long. I might try that again sometime but it’s a test for sure.

"I was kind of vibing along with this completely directionless pointless book until I got to a chapter that ended with "His smile instantly becomes a Core Memory" and i was ripped out of the book because my eyes rolled so hard they fell out of my head. Is this fantasy or not who even says "core memory" except Instagram moms!! Ughhh"
