3.75 ⭐️

she smirks a little “we don’t do jealous
i give her a half smile “we do now

this was surprisingly a good read, considering i hated the first book in the series, which i have gathered is because i absolutely cannot stand magnolia parks who is basically what this whole universe is centered around; so yay i guess 🥲

daisy >>> magnolia
the only reason i preferred this over the other was because of daisy, she was a far better and less annoying character to read than the whole of bj and magnolia 🚢
i did get annoyed with daisy too in the end tho but in comparison i could still understand and grasp her emotions.

I’ve never felt like this and it’s now, right now, this exact second that I realise I am in love with Daisy Haites. And then it is immediately after, in that exact second, that I realise I’ve lost her.

christian was good too but then again i really don’t understand the way everyone is so head over heels in love with magnolia including him 🫠

it gets annoying because no one really gives a reason, they just state that they love her coz she is magnolia fucking parks and that’s the end of it 😵‍
all are just scrambling to protect her, the friend group defends her into oblivion even though she is equally wrong most times.

the chapters where christain waxes poetic about magnolia were a struggle to get through but i started liking when he was actually stating facts about her toxicity, like

“queen of having her cake and not just fucking eating it, but like ploughing it too.

^ this was so good lmao, explains magnolia to a T. 💀

i wish the whole daisy haites was a separate exclusive series, i would def rate it higher then 🥲 ]]>

i’m sure this is wholesome book but i am already quite bored & also not a fan of the seemingly hilarious monologue of the fmc; who i found rather childish for her age 🥲 ]]>
