A lot of good advice in here, and lots to think about for anyone making visual stories, not just feature-length screenplays.

The BL2 is especially fascinating when you put it up against Campbell’s Hero’s Journey, and the logline is something I’ll
definitely be using in my future work

There’s just little too much filler. I get it. You love your friends and collaborators. You don’t have to tell us every time. There are some things that feel dated, but that’s just bound to happen.

I’m probably not the intended audience, but just felt like a book on how precise your writing has to be…should have been written with more precision.

This book may be the most important thing I’ve read for my business. I’ve certainly read pieces on decision-making, prioritization and process before, but none have hit me quite like this. Parrish doesn’t just tell you how to make decisions, he provides a framework and a process for making GOOD decisions, evaluating them, refining them, and learning from them.
