This had some laugh out loud moments. Agatha I quite a character. I forgot to post this rather strange novel by Irish writer Roddy Doyle, until a couple of days ago. I had a hard time getting through the first part about two 60 something year old friends going to get their Covid vaccinations. They chit chat about everything while having a “grand� day.

The second part is more serious when Paula’s, one of the two older women, daughter, Nicola, shows up and doesn’t want to return home to her husband and youngest daughter.
