One of the best book of this year
This book deserves all the praise in the world and to write an essay would not be enough to even begin to describe how amazing it felt to read this
I have never been so enthralled with a story from the very first part of the freaking PROLOGUE
And the fact that this part will haunt the narrative throughout the entire book is genius
What is even more genius is the plot inside the plot that i did not see coming even from the bottom of the ocean, i am still left thinking about it
And while this book is not a romantasy, it is very heavily an epic fantasy, the SCRAPES OF ROMANCE??????? Beyond what I expected and so beautifully written.

Something that I loved loved seeing was the fact that the characters are in their 30’s we need more of this i absolutely ate it up
The part the animals play in this story is very important and I enjoyed every time i read about them
Yes i do love a certain very morally grey to the bone but is he really??? character and yes im shipping him with a certain feel good even when bad things are happening.
And Neema and Cain are the best thing to grace my reading experience in a while

AND SOL😭😭😭PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS

Honourable mentions to my friend Anastasia who made me read the book because i don’t think i would have read it if it wasn’t for her( at least i didn’t suffer alone)

Impatiently waiting for the next one but until then
If you want to dive in the epic fantasy genre i think this is actually a pretty nice start to it.

Happy release week to this beauty.
An amazing introduction to this new series, with very high stakes and unforgiving characters
I enjoyed so much the retelling of the Icarus myth, a very intricate work
I loved the introduction to the story, absolutely brilliantly done
The characters on their own are so likeable, that i fear i was pretty upset when the book ended.
The romance is pure delight�.. the forbidden part, both of them from different worlds and with a lot to carry on their shoulders THE LONGING IT WAS SO GOOD, we may have a new book boyfriend on the horizon, and he is yearning yearning
You don’t even know when it’s over, you’re left scrambling for more. I am looking forward to finding out what is in store for the next instalment, my heart was in pieces at the end

If you are looking to start a new fantasy that is easy to read and has the forbidden trope than you have to pick this one asap, it’s out already
