The Gilded Cage delivered. Honestly, I had no idea I was going to become THIS obsessed with this series! Why isn't it more hyped?! It has everything: a complex FMC (who, not gonna lie, did annoy me a bit here—Kiva was way too naive and trusted all the wrong people), a golden-haired prince who has officially claimed my heart (I will not accept any Jaren slander, period. Plus, every time he opened his mouth to say something, I MELTED).

This book picks up with Kiva after she leaves Zalindov. And let me tell you... somehow, being outside the deadliest prison turned out to be EVEN MORE dangerous. Make it make sense.
How a story that started so simple and innocent got this complicated, I’ll never know—but I'm strapped in for the chaos.

The last 80 pages?? I was HOOKED. Couldn't put the book down. And that ending had me screaming—literally scared my poor dog, Balu (he may never forgive me haha).
