"Read as audiobook. Maybe that was a mistake. Narrator was really good - but I struggled to focus for much of it. I didn’t find it very gripping. I enjoyed the beginning, when we learnt about the mages and all the world building but I just wasn’t gassed about the main character Sciona. Thomil was OK but I didn’t warm to him much either. Maybe that’s why I didn’t feel gripped - I didn’t have a burning sway towards anyone. "
