Fearless by Lauren Roberts
"I really liked the first half of this, it reminded me a LOT of what I enjoyed from Powerless (setting, scenes, tropes)…but then it felt a bit TOO much like Powerless. So many repetitive scenes & quotes & words (especially from Kai). Because of that I just lost interest as the second half unfolded, & although the plot twists did get me (gasped at a few), one gave me a bit of the ick LOL

I also wanted to shake Kai & Paedyn…can’t say why without spoilers (but just know I really did)

Anyway: liked the first half, disappointed with the second half & the ending "
