The first thing that shocked me (and I would bet will shock you too) is that the first chapter could be you, your aesthetic, your style. Why does Vincenzo know exactly what your room looks like? The rest of the book is the not-so-shocking reason why. It is not a new premise but it is pleasant to read. The book reminded me of Zygmunt Bauman and how I need to revisit his work. This is the book that future generations should read to understand what it was like being a millennial pre-AI. It will certainly spark some interesting discussions if your friends read it too."
