I do believe that there a LOT of discrimination towards non sexual relationships (and agree with the author about abolishing romantic relationships being a requirement in marriage), a book I read about friendship earlier this year and the legal complications that come with alternative family structures that are not defined by romance or sex managed to communicate this in a far more effective way.
