This book didnโ€™t end in the way I thought it would! It was an interesting ride, with lots of twists and turns. The mystery thriller aspect was excellent. However, the characters were sort of unlikable, which is a pet peeve of mine. They certainly had issues, which made them complex, which I enjoyed.

Overall, it was a mixed bag; however, it turned out to be a decent book, which I enjoyed for the most part.


Narrator Rating: 2.0 stars
While the narrator did well with voices, the fact that she sounded congested the whole time was extremely annoying. I donโ€™t know if she was ill when this was recorded, or thatโ€™s just her voice, but either way, it bugged me to no end.

It was an interesting book and was well researched. However, overall, the book was overwritten.

The narrator was okay, but a bit bland. The book also would have been easier to follow if heโ€™d done voices for the people involved, as it got confusing at points as to who was being quoted.
