Aiden is the host of Baltimore‘s top romance hotline Heartstrings, and Lucie is a single mom doing her best to provide for herself and her daughter�� when Lucie‘s daughter decides to call into the show to set her mom up to find love. Lucie ends up becoming Aiden’s co-host and giving love a chance, repeatedly going on dates that ultimately seem to not be the right fit or are fully disappointing�� But what happens if Aiden, her Heartstrings co-host, decides he wants to be more than friends with her? And then what happens if he can’t get enough of her, and she can’t get enough of him either?

I loved these two in First-Time Caller!! Aiden is pining for Lucie with no shame or regrets whatsoever. We get slow burn, tension, the banter is bantering, and Aiden is down BAD for Lucie - it’s adorable! This book gave me 2000s rom-com movie vibes, and I mean that in the best possible way. If you want an adorable romance that has you kicking your feet over how cute it is while you read it, this is a great book to check out!
