I don't give 5 star reviews a lot. How can something be perfect? There always going to be something that annoyed me, some small slight against whatever my sense of artistic taste is. And even though this book is not perfect, my "one honest thing" is that it is most certainly a 5 star read.

Why? Because the romance is solid, and there's no insta love or annoying trope stuff. Because the story is compelling. Because the story is just as much about a father's love for her daughter, complicated because he's a brutal king.
