“A ripper - a book so thrilling, you’re nearly ripping the pages off as you turn them. �

First- the initial murder takes place in a town over from where I grew up and was actually the city I was born in 🤣 I loved that because I could envision it even more clearly. This book jumps from podcast episodes/livestreams to current day, but it is easy to follow. The only issue I had was towards the end where it jumps to the livestream - it felt rushed and chaotic. Didn’t like the pacing at that moment, but not enough to lower my rating. Overall a fantastic and gripping thriller. Our MC Poe is flawed, but likeable. I also loved how this author referenced his previous Mister Tender’s Girl novel through incorporating one of the characters from that. Love when author’s do this and it made me want to check out that book!
