I did not want this story to end. Meditative, deep, enigmatic, scary, dark, nostalgic. I was savouring it like the most delicious delicacy. If you like Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake, you may like The Memory Police, but the latter is something even more special.

Slow prose, where not much is going on. Focus on emotions, feelings, subtleties of daily life. But the story goes so deep, touches so many strings inside.

For me it's the story of loss which gives me even more desire to live and experience as much as I possibly can. ]]>
