Very wordy. Couldn't be described as straight forward, despite only being 80 pages and written as bullet points. If looked at as a critique of the separation of ones material self from the world they interact with its very prescient. As an expansion to the communist manifesto, it adds some context to the cultural and interpersonal disconnect that's been made worse by capitalism, and the doom cycle of that disconnect then being monetized. It's now profitable to sell a solution to the problem you caused, like Philip Morris owning stop-smoking aids. briefly theorizes on how people have that range of preference, settling on that it's a blend of genetic and experiential factors.

Expounds on fact that "self-actualization," isn't an idea you've actually maximized your being, but the recognition you can always improve on what your "self," is.
