I liked it. Actually, I didn't know who this woman was until later. I was on Nickelodeon for a short time in my life until my dad called someone to remove the 'inappropriate' channel from the TV. So that was it. I only remember Miranda from 'Drake and Josh.' I assume the book would mean a lot to people who watched her shows and knew her from the beginning in a 'fancy and happy' way. But for me, I jumped directly into the shadows. The writing is so good and expresses the idea very well. I like how she paints a whole picture of it all. However, I also think that some scenes in the book, where she describes her eating disorder (specifically, the purging), may be triggering for people with this disorder. Even though my relationship with food is fine, I felt a bit uncomfortable when she detailed the purging behavior and how she felt afterward. I hope she's okay. It's really sad when the person who's supposed to protect you ends up being the person who hurts you the most.
