"This was delightful and funny, an adventure story with themes of found family and a lot of humor and cleverness. Also could be emotional and a bit sad at times. My friend tells me this is set in the world of Clockwork Boys, which I haven’t read yet. There were a few clear, brief mentions to events from that that I picked up on, but they were minor and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything necessary to the story. "
