4 stars!

I can’t believe one of my favorite series is at the end of it’s road. The ODS series is one that I wish could go on forever. A few of these books are top favorites of mine. The characters are memorable, the stories are wonderful and the writing is superb. The final chapter- Moonlight on Nightingale Way is Grace and Logan’s story. Logan is Shannon’s brother (who we meet in the last book) and he’s spent the last two years of his life locked up for doing the right thing. Grace is his neighbor. She had a terrible home life (in a different way) and now she is living her own life. She’s classy and sweet, yet outspoken when need be.

These two have a different sort of relationship. Logan and Grace being neighbors don’t always ‘click. Grace is tired of hearing all the noises coming from Logan’s apartment and Logan thinks she is being pretentious. Then Logan gets some huge news. Something big happens in his life and Grace is there to help him. Their attraction towards one another just grows from there.

I loved the banner between these two. Their relationship could be fun, but also serious when need be. They had a connection and seeing their friendship grow was beautiful. Logan was fantastic and I was really looking forward to his book after reading Shannon and Coles, but Grace was honestly my favorite of this duo. I just adored her. Her relationship with Mia really sealed the deal.

I think one of the things I love most about the ODS series is that these characters aren’t just friends. They are the family they chose. I love this tight nit group.I am going to miss these books. Thankfully, I have them in audio so I can listen whenever I get the itch to re-read. And just an fyi for all you audio fans- this series has the BEST narrators! The woman voicing do a perfect job and I just love their accents! Even though this is a six book series it just doesn’t seem like enough. I loved how the story ended and all the epilogues. A great way to end the series and catch up with all my favorite couples. If you love the ODS books as much as I do, this is one you won’t want to miss out on!

4 Final Stars.

Logan was arrested a few years for beating his sister rapist almost to death. Now he’s trying to re-do his life and stay in his corner, since being an ex-con is most of the time a motive to judge him. Grace is his neighbor, a girl running away from her past.
When life brings them together, things aren’t easy at first sight. But when some unexpected things happen, bringing them closer, they will realize that sometimes what we need, it’s just next door.

Let me start by saying that this books will stay indefinitely as one of my favorite series ever. This wasn’t one of my favorites of them all, as there were some stuff happening during the book that I wasn’t too happy with, but the end was so beautiful it was impossible not to read. It was a sweet, refreshing and heartwarming romance and if you’re a fan of the series, you can’t miss this one. And if you haven’t started this books yet what the heck are you waiting for?

Sorry I did not like this one. At all!!! I felt no chemistry. I found the "banter" so lame. I hated the MCs. Even all the side characters reappearing annoyed me with their cheesy happy ever after.

Eventhough this series didn't end on a high note I still love ODS and BJL. I'm sorry to say I think I may be officially parting ways with SY now.

Reread February 2025

Gonna downgrade to 4 stars because the book just didn't hit as well on the reread. It is still in my top 3 of this series (out of 6 books)

Reread May 2023 but have reread many times. Upgrading to 5 star rating

It's funny because when I first read this book I never thought it would be a favorite of mine in this series, but I love the banter and the angst. I will say, the older I get I understand less and less why Grace involved herself in Logan and Maia's business, but then we wouldn't have this story so I let it go.

A fun, steamy, and slightly angsty story of neighbors who bicker but quickly become friends and then lovers. Samantha Young will always be one of my all time favorite authors, reading her book and characters just click somehow in my brain.

This was an adult contemporary romance story featuring Grace and Logan.

I liked Grace and Logan in this, and I liked how Grace didn’t judge Logan for his criminal record.

The storyline in this was about the romance between Grace and Logan, but I found it a bit annoying how Logan pushed Grace away when really he wanted her. We also got a storyline about a long-lost daughter turning up, and another storyline about why Grace had moved to Edinburgh to get away from her family.

The ending to this was pretty good, and I liked how we got to catch up with the other couples from the series as well.

I am so sad that this series has come to an end, but happy that it got the perfect ending that it deserved.

Samantha Young managed to captivate me for years with her books and "Moonlight on Nightingale Way" didn't disappoint in the least. When I first read about the hero of this story, I was kind of guarded, because I wasn't familiar with Logan much. I only knew the main idea, that he was Shannon's brother, the one that ended up in jail after beating the man that hurt and nearly raped her. We could see the strong connection they had, the love they felt for each other and I knew that Logan's story deserved to be more developed.

Now we got the chance to read about it, and of course, the story was amazing.
Logan is out of jail and tries to re-balance his life, although the memories and hard times spent in prison still hunt him. We see a very fragile and confused hero, trying to get his old life back, but he is kind of choosing the wrong path now, because in this "confusion" , he parties and sleeps with a lot of women just to forget. We all know that this is only a way to keep lying to himself and forgetting everything that happened 2 years ago.

description

Grace, our lovely heroine, is his next door neighbor and really mad about not getting any sleep because of Logan and his ongoing parties. She is a very up front and determined girl, a tough cookie to crack for our party friend here. They begin a cat and mouse relationship, but you can feel the attraction and the good kind of tension between them.

When something unexpected happens, Logan and Grace are caught together in a strange situation that changes them and brings them closer. Due to this change, Logan becomes more responsible, and I definitely felt in love with him. He showed another side of him, caring, kind and noble. He truly became the person he was 2 years ago, the one that sacrificed his freedom for the safety of his sister. Grace was the perfect balance for him, his perfect match that was right in front of him, but as we are accustomed to, heroes catch up very slowly and kill our nerves and patience in the process.

I enjoyed the originality of the story, the twist element that was introduce in the book and it was very surprising and fun to read. I like second chances books and this one was perfectly created for us to realize that people deserve it, by falling in love again or having a surprising presence in their lives that can guide them to rediscovery and forgiveness.
Logan story was mainly about this, about forgiving himself for what happened, although he was only protecting his sister. In his complicated manner, having Grace by his side showed him that he deserves to be loved again, despite this terrible background.

Of course, Sam's trademark passionate scenes were there, creating the perfect love story with everything on top: drama, lust, humor and domestic elements that I've enjoyed dearly.
A bonus was the epilogue, you will love it and enjoy every page from it.
Love the Dublin Street Series and I am terribly sorry that it ended, but that a way to go it was:)

4.5 Oh-God, Why is it Over Stars?

Moonlight on Nightingale Way is the last book in the On Dublin Street series. It is also a standalone. Although, since it’s the last in the series, I highly suggest you read the previous books to get the full effect.

Moonlight on Nightingale Way was the perfect conclusion to my beloved series. Sigh. I loved it. I loved the storyline, I loved the characters, correction, I LOVED ALL the characters. I felt like Samantha Young really gave what the viewers craved. Romance, tension, slight angst, and sweet love.

She did the last book good.

Logan is Shannon’s brother. Remember, Logan was the guy that beat up Shannon’s ex because she was almost rapped? Logan went to prison for two years because of that and even though he’s been out for some time, he’s different. He isn’t the happy-go-lucky guy anymore. He’s hard.

Grace works from home and her new neighbor makes it very hard for her to do her job. Because her neighbor has sex late at night and ladies are very loud. I know, it’s completely funny and I love it. Logan is Grace’s new neighbor.

I love the banter between Grace and Logan. Obviously Grace hates Logan. She’s annoyed by him and wants nothing to do with him. Since they are neighbors, they run into each other often and every time they do, Grace has something to complain about. Like Logan’s ex’s throwing up in front of her door step or leaving their underwear to dry on the balcony. It’s completely funny and 100% cute.

Logan is a jerk. He’s the hero you want to hate, but you can’t help but have a crush on. He doesn’t have any consideration for Grace’s feelings and he’s very vocal about it. Even though Logan is a complete jerk and even though he has lots of sex, he’s not a bad guy. He’s sensitive and very caring.

Grace starts to see this side of him.

The things I’m going to do to you, babe. I’m going to make you mine, every single piece of you.

I’ve got all the time in the world, Grace. All the time in the world for you.

The book shifts a lot in the book and it changes the relationship between Grace and Logan. I LOVE the shift! These are the kind of books I read. The shift brings Grace and Logan closer, even though they don’t want to be. Grace is now thrown into Logan’s life and she’s questioning if it’s a good idea.

Both are starting to have feelings towards each other and both don’t know what to do about it. At times Logan can be really difficult. I get it. He’s a tough guy that went through a lot of stuff in his past, but Grace has her demons too. She’s very hurt by her parents it still haunts her to this day.

I love Grace. I found her very sweet, kind and the type of person I would love to be friends with. She tries very hard to do the right thing, even when Logan is a completely jerk to her. You also get a huge glimpse of the gang from the previous books. It’s kind of bittersweet because this is the last book in the series.

On Dublin Street was my first Samantha Young novel and I fell in love with it instantly. It’s one of the first books that got me hooked on romance books. I’m terribly sad this series is over. It’s like saying goodbye to an old friend, but it was a great goodbye.

If you are a fan of the series, you must finish it out with Moonlight on Nightingale Way

I guess I will jump ship on this one, if I'm not into it by now I never will be. It's such a bummer because I really enjoyed the first few books in the series. with Nate and Olivia is one of my all time favorites, but sadly for me, that's where this series peaked. My main issue with this one is that I didn't care for the characters right off the bat, especially Grace. Ugh. I actually thought the first scene was cringe worthy, so I would suggest listening to the sample. I also didn't think there was much development in the romance, so I never felt a connection between them. The banter between them was awkward and unnatural, and the pacing seemed off.

Unfortunately, when the romance isn't working for me, I have nothing better to do than notice things like excessive tingling, blushing and eyes darkening.

Oh, well! Thanks for the br Ami! :))

Nooooooo, it’s over!!! *sniff*

But what a FANTASTIC finish to one of my all-time favourite series.

4 stars.

The final book in the On Dublin Street series, this is a bittersweet review for me to write. I love these books, and am devastated that the ride is over, but it finishes off really well with a fantastic story featuring loveable but flawed characters, great banter, wonderfully building sexual tension, drama, angst and a sensational and passionate romance. All intermingled with a close knit circle of family and friends, it’s a beautiful read.

This book tells the story of Logan. He is the older brother of Shannon from the last book . Logan has recently been released from prison where he spent two years for beating the man who attacked his sister. He has served his sentence and is making up for lost time with a constant stream of women in and out of his apartment

Our heroine Grace, is smart, sensible and immediately likable. She had an awful upbringing but has escaped her circumstances and created a new life for herself in Edinburgh. She has a great group of friends, and although she hasn’t found a man as wonderful as her book boyfriends, she has a happy life. But then Logan moves into the apartment next door (in a building owned by Mr Carmichael *faints*), and suddenly she has to deal with g-strings in the foyer, vomit on her doorstep, noisy parties and the constant screaming of whichever woman happens to be in Logan’s bed. She’s furious with him, he gets defensive, and they are immediately antagonistic towards each other but there is an underlying attraction there which seeps through chemistry-filled interactions.

“Are you always this deliberately irritating? I huffed, mirroring his stance by crossing my arms over my chest.
To my surprise, this caused Logan’s lips to twitch, and his eyes started dancing with humor. “I only seem to irritate you. He cocked his head to the side. “I wonder why that is.
“Because, I whined, my head lolling with exasperation and tiredness, “I’m sleep deprived, and it’s all your fault, you bloody wretched manwhore.
“Well, this is a whole other side to you. It’s quite unpleasant. I may have to speak to the landlord about it. I can’t take this kind of abuse.
My head jerked upright and I glowered at him. “I swear if you don’t start taking this seriously I will push you down those stairs.
“Now you’re threatening my life. He tsked. “That won’t do at all.

Their antagonistic relationship is cut short when Grace is present to witness a life changing moment for Logan, and gets sucked into the unfolding drama, and his life, in a way neither of them could ever have imagined. I really liked the twist in this story. It occurs early enough in the book to really shape the rest of the story and it creates a fantastic dynamic, giving this book something different from others in the series, with a different overall feel to it, and I really appreciated that.

The unfolding drama strips both Logan and Grace of all pretences, and they become a constant part of each other’s lives, and that’s when things start to get really interesting. As they get to know each other, it’s clear that they are both wildly attracted to each other, but with everything going on in Logan’s life, he’s not ready to dive into a relationship, and this is a really slow burn. There’s a great sense of anticipation as the tension builds and builds, and when the big moment comes, I was bouncing up and down in my chair with excitement.

“Grace. His head dipped toward mine. “Tell me to leave.
“No, I whispered back, relaxing into the wall, and he melted into me with a groan. “I want you to stay.
He looked into my eyes as if searching for the answer to something. “If I stay I’m going to fuck you.
I trembled in reaction to his bluntness and licked my lips before I moved my feet, widening my legs so he could fit just right between them. His eyes flared at the movement, and I reached up so our lips brushed as I whispered. “I’m counting on it.

Oh hell yeah!!! There are some hot and passionate encounters, but it takes a while for them to get themselves sorted, and the angst levels are high. Their situation forces them together but at the same time tears them apart, plus they both have personal issues which complicate the possibility of a relationship between them. It’s frustrating and sad, but Sam Young does this kind of angst really well, and OMG, I could feel everything! Grace’s heartbreak, Logan’s torment I just wanted them together! But I had faith that Sam would make it all worth it in the end, and she totally delivers!!!

“No man alive loves a woman as much as I love you. I never thought I would feel this way about anyone. I didn’t think it existed. Not for me.

Swooooooooooon!

I love Logan! I loved watching the development of his character. He used to be such an easygoing, fun-loving guy, but prison changed him. He is just starting to get used to being outside again, when life deals him another hit. And I love that we got to watch him go through that. The book is told entirely from Grace’s POV, but she is a close part of the action, and her developing friendship with Logan means that she is there for him, and he opens up to her, so we get to see all that he is going through. And watching him go from manwhore to committed man in love is absolutely beautiful!

“You are so fucking sexy. He peppered kisses along my jaw “The things I’m going to do to you, babe. I’m going to make you mine, every single piece of you. Our eyes locked, his filled with sexual promise. “No holds barred, Grace. Not with me. I’m going to fuck you like there’s no tomorrow, and you’re going to let me.
His voice lowered and he leaned down to brush his mouth softly over mine. “But right now I’m going to make love to you.

OMG, so, so hot!!!

And Grace is a wonderful match for him. Her life has been hard, but she had the strength to start again, and even though the hurt from the past is still very much present, she is trying hard to move forward. And that strength is shown over and over again as she is there for Logan in every way that he needs her, but she’s also not doormat, and she stands up for herself. It’s a great balance.

Logan has been adopted into the greater On Dublin Street crowd through his sister, Shannon and her fiancé, Cole (who is awesome, and who I love dearly), and Grace is welcomed into the group with open arms. So we get to check in on each other couples of the series so far, all now either in or approaching their 40s, and I will admit I still get ridiculously excited every time Braden or Nate get a mention *shiver*. And I love how they all rallied around to support both Grace and Logan through everything.

Taking in their expressions, I just knew it.
Logan had enlisted them.
The bugger.
“Oh dear God. I let my head fall back as if in supplication to an unmerciful deity. “Why me?
Joss snorted. “Yeah, doesn’t it suck when gorgeous, funny, loyal Scotsmen fall in love with us?

There is an epilogue which finishes off Logan and Grace’s story beautifully, but in a wonderful addition, Sam Young has given us a brief epilogue for each of the other couples. From the POV of each of her heroines, we get a little glimpse into their lives with their husbands and children, and it’s a gorgeous way to finish off the series and say goodbye.

I have adored this series! and are two of my all-time favourite reads and I have fallen in love with each of these characters as I’ve read their stories (and pretty much every one of these guys makes it onto the list of top book boyfriends!) I’m so sad that the series is over, but it’s definitely one that I look forward to rereading over and over again.

This book is a very fitting finish to a much-loved series 4 stars.

Grace’s new neighbor, Logan, is basically a manwhore. His sexual antics and loud parties have deprived her of sleep, and generally ticked her off. Logan’s reactions to her complaints push her buttons even more so, accusing Grace of being an uppity snob. Needless to say they are not on the best of terms when they first meet. But Grace gets to know Logan a little and her opinion of him begins to soften, just a tad.

When faced with something that changes his life forever, Logan is shocked and thrown for a loop, but he quickly abandons his party lifestyle to accommodate. Grace steps in to help, because she can’t help but admire the way Logan immediately accepts the change in his life with ferocity, and because the situation strikes at her heart for personal reasons.

Samantha Young captures feelings so spot on that every time I crack open the pages of one of her stories I automatically put myself in the character’s shoes. So of course I rooted for Grace and I felt her every hurt, all her longing and attraction, as well. She was such a sweet, giving person, and her help to Logan cemented their closeness. In that closeness, Grace starts to fall for Logan even though she fears he’ll just break her heart in the end. Grace doubts that she’s even Logan’s type when he paraded blond, curvy, scantily clad women in and out of his apartment for months, and Grace is pretty much the opposite. Also, low self-esteem stemming from an absolutely horrid family further fuels her concerns.

Logan spent time in jail, almost two years, for severely beating the man who nearly raped and killed his sister. So he didn’t feel worthy to take on the change in his life, but Grace helped him work through those feelings and be the man she knew he was. Of course, I wanted to smack Logan a couple of times, but he proved time and time again what a good guy he was and I couldn’t help but fall for him.

Grace and Logan dance around their attraction, building up combustible sexual tension, so when they finally give in it’s so very HOT:

“The things I’m going to do to you, babe. I’m going to make you mine, every single piece of you.

I appreciated there was no last minute romantic drama to taint their relationship when they finally committed. It was Grace and Logan against the world, aka crappy family.

I’m sad to say good-bye to this series, I’ve loved each and every book in the series, but Samantha Young gives us a good send off with short, but heartwarming epilogues for each couple. You know these friends who’ve become like family, through their emotional bonds and unwavering support will live happily ever after, and that’s what every romance junkie, like me, craves!

Holy cow! I don't know why I haven't continued reading this series. Well, yes I do, there always seems to be another book that comes up and other books just get pushed aside. When I saw this audiobook available I had to grab it. Now that I've listened to the last book in this series, I really need to read the other books. This was such a great book and the added accents in the audiobook version were fantastic!

Grace is a freelance editor and works from home. Even though she has a hunky neighbor, they haven't really hit things off well because it seems that he has a revolving door on his apartment. The sounds that come through the walls late at night keep her up or interrupts her sleep making it hard for her to do her job.

Grace's hunky, horny neighbor is Logan. Logan has a bit of a past. He spent the last two years in jail for beating up his sister's boyfriend who tried to rape her. Now he's making up for lost time if you know what I mean. The noise is annoying, but when his hookups leave their knickers on the landing to dry and throw up on Grace's doorstep, she has to complain. This has Grace and Logan arguing with one another in the beginning, but when a ghost from his past surfaces Grace is there to help him through it. She did not have a great childhood growing up and those experiences make her the perfect person to help Logan with this new situation.

I loved seeing these two work together. They put their bickering aside for a while, helping one another. As the sexual attraction between them grew, they tried to ignore it. Both putting up their walls, but it was no use. Now Grace was the one making the sexual noises at the hands of Logan.

"I can't walk away from you even if I wanted to."

I loved this book. I realize that if I had read this series in order I would probably be extremely sad that the series ends here, but since I'm reading them out of order I'm very excited that I have the other books yet to read. Bonus for me!

“I can’t walk away from you even if I wanted to. And I don’t want to. You are reality and sweet oblivion wrapped up in one annoyingly argumentative, always-bloody-right, classy, gorgeous-as-f*ck package.

Six full length novels, six couples I loved from the get-go, six unforgettable love stories that will forever remain some of my favourite books of all time, and we now say goodbye to the wonderful world of the On Dublin Street series with this unputdownable finale—a touching friends-to-lovers tale that had me either squirming in my seat from the unrelenting chemistry between the characters, or clenching my chest from all the angsty emotions it stirred in me page after page. I loved this book, loved it so much I couldn’t help but re-read parts of it right after I first finished it, leaving me with a bittersweet smile on my face knowing I was saying farewell to a ‘reality I learned to depend on whenever I was in need of a true romance to warm my heart.

“I’d worked hard to become my own person and not a shadow of the girl lost in the manipulations, cruelty, and neglect of her family.

Grace Farquhar is a young woman who left her privileged past and the person she once was behind to embrace the woman she always hoped to become. Having grown up in an disparaging environment that left her with serious self-esteem issues—raised by parents who either ignored her or belittled her continually with demeaning comments and self-serving expectations—she was forced to sever all contact with her family in order to heal and become her own person. But years of feeling inadequate and never speaking out her mind have left her fearful of confrontation, constantly craving the approval of others. So when a very loud new neighbour moves into the apartment next door, his late night sex antics keeping her awake night after night and leaving her too tired to work during the day, she reacts uncharacteristically, having no qualms about expressing her distress and frustration at his behaviour. Even when her words seem to fall on deaf ears and her new neighbour’s mocking stance only serves to aggravate her even more.

“Logan MacLeod is the least likely candidate for boyfriendhood of any man in the entire world.

Logan MacLeod is not the man the world believes him to be. One mistake in his life, one act of fierce protectiveness towards a beloved sister, has cost him two years of his life and a lifetime of shame, but behind the bad boy façade hides a man looking for forgiveness, self-fulfilment, and a fresh start in life. When the cute spitfire next door confronts him about his late night shenanigans, he is instantly drawn to her, but the more life pulls them closer to one another, and the more he gets to know her, the more he believes that she deserves someone better than him, someone worthier, someone whose past is not weighing heavily on his shoulders, making him wish he were a better man for her. Even though in Grace’s eyes he is all she’s ever dreamed of finding in life.

“Although I was actively looking for the man I wanted to spend my life with, I wasn’t looking for a fantasy man. I was looking for someone understanding, protective, and funny. I didn’t expect perfection. I just wanted to like the person I was dating, and I wanted him to be kind.

When Logan’s past comes unexpectedly knocking at his door, changing his future forever, Grace becomes the person he learns to lean on the most in life, her kindness and generosity helping him face a reality he never believed possible. But as their lives become more and more intertwined, their attraction grows as well, leading to a climax of epic proportions. One which only one of them doesn’t regret in the end.

“I’d fallen in love for the first time. And he didn’t love me back.

This is a very emotional but also downright scorching tale of a love born suddenly, unexpectedly, a love free from judgement and prejudice, whose sheer magnitude heals both young lovers from the ugly scars from their respective pasts. It’s also a story that shows the true definition of a family, of the incomparable power of friendships, and how much the two can sometimes become one in life. Grace and Logan break the cycle they were born into by becoming the kind of people they always wished their parents would have been—two people who love selflessly and unconditionally, and whose love and devotion to those closest to them becomes the one thing they are most proud of in life.

It is with a heavy heart that I let these characters and all the wonderful couples who came before them go, certain of many a re-read in the future. Ms Young has given us the perfect kind of closure for all six storylines, and even though there will never be another Jocelyn and Braden, Johanna and Cameron, Olivia and Nate, Hannah and Marco, Shannon and Cole, or Grace and Logan, I am certain the best is yet to come from this truly extraordinary author whose words never fail to blow my mind.

“I never thought you’d light up for the likes of me I’m going to f*ck you until you see stars.

“There are moments in life that change us irreparably. Sometimes those moments are grand and dramatic, tragic or beautiful in their intensity. Sometimes those moments are quiet and small like footsteps fading behind a closed door. The subtlety of those moments can sometimes camouflage their impact and sometimes the impact is felt profoundly, but the quietness of the moment is lost on everyone else around you adding loneliness to the equation.

Just loved it, great ending for an amazing series!

ARRRRGGHHH THAT EPLOGUE!!

I love Shannon and Cole! I love Hannah and Marco! I love Olivia and Nate! I love Jo and Cam! I love Ellie and Adam! I freaking love Joss and the love of my life Braden Carmichael! Plus the new addition to the family, Grace and Logan!
All of the characters have come such a long way and I was more than happy to be with them every step of the way!

This final installment will leave you captivated and satisfied. I will surely miss these characters deeply. *sniffs* Thank you Samantha Young for a wonderful series!

3.5 - 4 's

This book is about Logan, Shannon's brother, who we met in her book and who has just gotten released from jail and has started working for Braden at his club.

I was really looking forward to Logan's book but overall, I was left feeling a little disappointed. I've been thinking about what exactly it is that has been me feeling this way. I think part of it is just that it's the last book in a for the most part amazing series. The other is that Logan and Grace just didn't quite doing it for me.

I didn't like hearing about all of Logan's exploits and I really didn't like them thrown in Grace's face. The whole situation with Maia, while sweet, took up a lot of page time. And it was just too much with both situations with Logan's AND Grace's families.

description

And while I enjoyed the homage at the end, again...I didn't like that I felt it took away from Logan and Grace. I think the series has just gotten so many characters that at times it felt a bit much.

But I liked how things worked out and I was happy to read another SY book. I will definitely miss the gang!

description
The Good Stuff:

Dual Pov's? Just Grace's.

Steam Factor? (Scale 1 - 5) 3ish...I really wanted more.

Angst? (Scale 1 - 5) again 3ish...nothing too over the top.

Next book? That's all folks! But wait...it was just announced that there will be a novella coming out on November 3rd called On King's Way.

"3 done with the ODS series stars"

Crap, this was NOT how I pictured my closure to the On Dublin Street series
BUT I wasn't covinced in what Logan and Grace had in this book.

For example, Logan was so out of place, firstly he's this hunk of a guy - tall, intimidating, sexy and brooding THEN he does things that only meeh, slimy shitheads do, then he's commanding domineering alpha in bed and I guess, for me, he went from one extreme to another and I was stuck in the middle trying to figure this guy out.
Grace - oh boy that was almost as a copy/paste character to Logan - she was psychologicaly abused by her crappy mother and distant father (rich people) and she's actually taking boldly charge to settle a situation she had no place of being in (like "helping" a neighbour you don't like and have resentments towards him BUT you find him sexualy attractive...in "an episode of a suddenly parent" of some lame talk show) - and she's so uncertain of her features and looks BUT she's bold enough to give Logan the "shit" about his "loud actions" and manwhoring, and she acts the same when they try to be in a relationship....

I felt like I was forced into all of it and I guess the Epilogue didn't help either to improve my impression...

Shame, I was looking forward to this...and I ended up being shoved up my throat with all of the characters (from all the books in the series that are making their respectable appearences) and their "perfect" lifes with picket fenses and 2,4 children...

and it has to be something so OFF cause if those are the words of a HEA junkie then I guess it's all going to hell!

I even think I aged a little bit after this...

I really did not like the beginning of this at all. H was sleeping with OW and h can hear him having sex with all these OW the first 30% of the book. Then they started getting close because of the whole long-lost child thing (which I did not like) and he gave up his man ho ways BUT he still openly flirted in front of the h and let’s not talk about that one “slip where he slept with OW when h was already falling for him. Like, why did this need to happen? This just made the H irredeemable in my eyes. This made the H look like he just thinks with his dick and his excuse was because he was horny...

Unfortunately, all this OW bs just made me wary of H’s feelings for h cuz he slept with that particular OW (h heard H having sex with this OW for THREE STRAIGHT NIGHTS btw) just days before he and h were intimate... so, he was already falling for her, but he still accepted the OW’s offer to have sex during his lunch break, when he knew h was attracted to him.
Yeah... I HATED that.

I barely felt the connection between Grace and Logan and there were a lot of time jumps and the feelings felt so one-sided and maybe its cuz of the amount of time we spend reading about H sleeping with OW. Like, the beginning should have been the H and h spending time together and getting to know one another but nooo, instead, H was being a man ho AND the h can hear him having sex, keeping her awake at night. Can we talk about how rude that is? This went on and on and it was so annoying cuz it honestly diminishes H's love for h in my view. I know they were there only for there hookups, but it was so unnecessary. I really think having Logan’s POV would’ve helped me believe his feelings for Grace more because reading about him having sex through h's POV was just traumatizing and annoying.

I was hooked from the start with this one. The opening chapters with the hero, Logan MacLeod, and his man whore ways... I had to laugh at how it aggravated his next door neighbor, Grace Farquhar. The poor woman couldn't get any work done (she was a free-lance editor working from home) or get any sleep with the sounds of orgasmic pleasure coming from his apartment next door. Grace and Logan get off to a rather unpleasant start, but you can feel the sexual tension brewing between them.

Logan has served 2 years in prison (for beating up his sister Shannon's attacker) and it seems that time locked up has changed the man he used to be. He's not the joyful, hopeful man he once was. He's a one-night-stand kind of guy and has no interest in a relationship, so he chooses women he knows he could never fall for. Although next door neighbor Grace increasingly intrigues him, he knows he should steer clear of her. Then a huge surprise enters his life , and he finds himself relying on his growing friendship that he's formed with Grace. And it's not long before Logan and Grace (who has a really heartbreaking upbringing) start spilling their secrets and fears to each other.

Logan...

I've enjoyed every book from this series so far, but I wish I had read the previous before this one. I really enjoyed Logan, but even though I knew what he had gone through, I wanted to see how he was prior to his incarceration. I felt he really grew into a stand-up, mature guy in this book, and loved when he finally opened his eyes and realized he deserved to have a woman like Grace in his life.

I loved the character of Grace. She was a smart, girl-next-door type with a difficult past ( a family from hell!) that she was still dealing with. She was easy to root for, and at times I found my heart breaking for her. Yes, she had insecurities that I thought maybe a good therapist could help her with, but she was also incredibly strong and with a huge capacity to love. I was soooo hoping she'd get everything she every dreamed of.

While I absolutely adored the I felt the exploration of this plot point took over the book a bit. I wanted to see a little bit more of the romance between Grace and Logan, which took a while to really get started. But once it did it got (typically) hot, so no real complaints there!

I love how the author develops her characters and makes you fall in love with them. They become so real to you that you actually can feel their pain. There were definitely times where I felt myself tearing up, so I know I was emotionally involved in this story.

While it wasn't my absolute favorite of a fabulous series (sorry, but no one can top Braden and Joss's story---- in my eyes) it was an engrossing read, and a fitting (but sadly an) end to this wonderful series. I enjoyed meeting up with all of the series characters again, loved how they all accepted Grace and Maia into their lives, and especially loved the eight-months-later epilogue. Now that's how you finish a series! 4 stars

Brejden i ja smo u vezi već četiri godine, ljubav moja velika, najveća ❤️

description

Čak imamo i najlepše naslovne.

description

Svim knjigama sam dala peticu,al imam svoje favorite:
1.Dablin Strit
2.Jamajka Lejn
3.Najtingejl Vej
4.London Roud
5.Skotland Strit
6.Indija Plejs

Samanta, hvala ti na ovom predivnom serijalu.Hvala ti na Brejdenu description

I za kraj, sjajni momci Dablin strita description

Moonlight on Nightingale Way is the sixth and final book in the On Dublin Street series and is my favourite I was hooked from the first page til the last I did not want it to end. Logan Macleod and stolen Braden’s place in my heart (sorry Braden).

Grace moved to Edinburgh to start her new life surrounding herself with great friends to replace her horrible family back in London. She has a great life, with her friends a job she loves and a great apartment the only thing missing is Mr Right. This is until the annoying neighbour moves across the landing and her peace is shattered nightly by women screaming with passion. She confronts the neighbour as she no longer hides from confrontation enter Logan MacLeod into her life.

Logan MacLeod spent two years in prison defending his sister and is now starting over with new friends, a new job and a new apartment thanks to Braden. His meetings with Grace on the landing do not go well thanks to his guests and their stuff so they try and avoid each other until one day while arguing something happens that changes everything and this event brings them together.

I loved the way their relationship develops over time and the changes we see in Logan. This is a slow burn which I enjoyed it was a refreshing change having a couple go from being neighbour to friends to lovers. Grace is scared of getting hurt by Logan and Logan does not want a relationship at the moment. When they decide to give it a try they are scorching together Logan is a bossy alpha in the bedroom HOT. I could go on and on about this book and the characters and what they go through as I loved them so much but I do not want to say to much as I do not want to spoil the story, other readers will agree. One thing I will say I loved the family get togethers and catching up with all the gang.

MoNW has one of the best and cutest epilogues I have read and it was a lovely way to end a fantastic series like this. This series will always stay with me as On Dublin Street was one of the first books I read since I became hooked on reading after FSoG and I have loved each couple in their own way. I hope Samantha continues to write romances like this series.

is the sixth and final installment in 's adult contemporary romance series titled On Dublin Street. There are some books in this series that made it to my absolute favorites list and there are others that made me wonder why they were even in this series. was kind of in-between, falling between three and four stars in my opinion. I expected a lot for the final book, and even though I don't think the series ended with memorable fireworks, I did like this last installment overall. The relationship and family dynamics were complex enough to keep my interest, the romance was sexy, and I enjoyed catching up with past characters. All in all, a good read that I would recommend to followers of the series. That recommendation comes with a warning though. While reading, put aside the fact that this is the final book. You may enjoy it more if you view it as just another installment in a great series instead of the finale. Just a suggestion though.

My favorite quote:
"What are you worried about? What the world thinks of you, what we think of you, or what you think of you? Because at the end of the day babe, the only opinions that matter are your own and those of the people you care about."

Sexy, emotional, addictive and a wonderful finale to an amazing series.

What a perfect, heartfelt finale to a much-loved series. I can remember reading On Dublin Street for the first time and falling in love with Joss and Braden, and now, so many stories later, with characters like Liv, Shannon, Jo, Hannah and Ellie, we finally get the story of Logan (whom we met in Echoes of Scotland) and Grace. I loved how Logan and Grace’s story delivered so much emotion. There is a lot of addictive angst, a lot of feels in their back stories, the situations they face, the burgeoning emotions they feel for each other. I thought the plot was very well paced as the story alternated between internal and external struggles, giving us deeper insight into each protagonist. In this case, both Grace and Logan have not had it easy have not had the support they needed from their family. They’ve each had to become someone else to survive experiences that marred them deeply. But before they shared emotions, and way before they shared a bed, they couldn’t stand each other.

Logan MacLeod was a womanizer. A bevy of women screamed it so, as Grace could attest. She was Logan’s neighbor, and every scream of ecstasy pounded through her walls as she tried to work late into the evenings. One day she had enough, and when she confronts her playboy neighbor, she didn’t expect him to be so alluring, good-looking. and wholly frustrating! As a result, a wonderfully antagonist relationship ensues.

Grace has been looking for a man to love, who will love her, but she keeps colliding with the worst of them. Meanwhile, Logan has a past that has made him a different man, clinging to women as a way to escape everything inside. Yet, the only thing they know about each other is every insulting comment slung each time an untimely encounter happens. But one day, Grace is there when a life-altering bomb is dropped and she’s swept up in a heartbreaking situation, helping Logan in a way she never would have expected.

Their story is filled with so much hurt and heartbreak, misunderstandings and misconceptions, but also so much rightness, love and acceptance. Samantha Young did a great job setting up a story with great balance between sexy and sweet, romance and angst, humor and heartbreak. I couldn’t put it down and many scenes got to me in a way I didn’t expect emotionally. The end was bittersweet bliss, but the perfect finale for such a great series. I look forward to reading more of what Young will throw at us next.

Moonlight on Nightingale Way is wonderful book to wrap up the series and this is probably my third favorite. as it tells story of Shannon's brother, Logan MacLeod. (We met him on the previous book :)

Logan was an ex-convict because of a crime he committed in order to protect his sister. Starting a new life out of prison, with a job (offered by Braden), living in an apartment and of course he has affairs with plenty of women. That changed when Grace Farquhar, his neighbor, complained wild noises from his apartment. She was a simple, classy and frank. However, she has insecurities in life because she didn't feel loved by her family. She tried hard to please them in every way by obeying them but it turns out all her efforts are wasted. Bad family indeed and she decided to leave them. (Her story is just sad... :( )

These two characters are absolutely romantic and I love the chemistry between them. I love the dramas and their conversations. Funny and romantic at the same time, I also love their character developments. They helped each other in battling their weaknesses. Maia MacLeod is an awesome matchmaker! I love this kid.

Overall, I just love it! There's something about 's writing style that makes me carried away with each book of this series. It's such a wonderful journey getting to know all the characters' in this series and I am engrossed with all their love stories. The epilogue is just absolutely wonderful. I have no words. I devour this series and definitely one of my favorite Adult Romance series of all time. So sad that it's over. :(
