This book is very interesting and so helpful. I like how chapters are brief and rich with examples, illustarations, solved examples and exercises.

When necessary, some concepts are defined in more than one chapter.

The book covers all topics of accounting, from basic level up to advanced and managerial level.

I've read other books on accounting, but this one made accounting simpler than any other.

I love this book! As an introduction to accounting it is spectacular. I used it as part of my freshman accounting courses, Principles I and II. I definitely liked Principles I better than I did Cost Accounting, but this book was just overall so worth the read and an enormous resource. One hardly needs the professor with a book like this.

I want to give it a 3.5-star rating. The topics and concepts are well defined and explained. However the exhibits are not well explained. They need to check out chem and bio textbooks.

This is one of the best accounting textbooks I have used. It is much easier to understand than the other accounting principles text I used. I highly recommend the two study guides that go with this book. They are great too!

An engineering student liked the book. There he saw an 'allowed' Bangladeshi version at Dhaka New Market—it seemed to be genuine but less attractive. But it read well anyway.
