Excellent read. Gen谋us writing, wonderful ideas. The motif 螤蔚蟼 蟿畏蟼 works very well, as well as some other repetitions which give coherence to the novel. It certainly deserves multiples readings to unlock the writer's implications and hidden ideas. It was my first reading of Christos Ikonomou and he just became one of my favourite authors. The 4 stars are because the narrative lies heavily on asyndeton and this might tire the reader. PS. It's an unusual novel -- don't expect a normal plot.
