I didn't like this book as much as the one about Frida Kahlo, but it is still a very cute series for children.

This book was wonderful.
As a fan of Stephen Hawking, I was excited to get my hands on this little book. I didn’t go into it expecting to learn anything new, so I was genuinely surprised by how much information this book contained.
This book is like a snapshot of the different stages of Stephen Hawking’s life. Covering his childhood, studies, career, relationships, and family, as well as his illness, there is a lot of information to entertain young readers.
All of this fantastic information was accompanied by Marianna Madriz's amazing illustrations. The colourful and bold illustrations perfectly complimented the information being provided; added an extra layer to this already awesome book.
Given how much I enjoyed this book, I can only imagine the happiness and fascination this book will bring to young readers and their families. If you have a young reader in your life, this is definitely a book that you should look into getting them.
Stephen Hawking by Isabel Thomas is a must-have for all young readers.

Tutustuin Pieni opas suureen elämään -kirjasarjaan Frida Kahlon tarinan kautta ja innostuin lainaamaan kirjastosta sarjan muitakin osia. Stephen Hawkingista ja hänen teorioistaan on onnistuttu kirjoittamaan kiinnostavasti ja kansantajuisesti niin lapsille kuin aikuisille. Pienet kirjaset toimivat sopivina herättelijöinä aiheiden ääreen. Voisin tutustua enemmänkin näiden kiehtovien henkilöiden tarinoihin. Marianna Madrizin kuvitus loistaa jälleen kirjan päähenkilön näköisenä.

Erinomainen! Ei kuitenkaan viittä tähteä koska jotkin fysiikkaan liittyvät asiat olisi voitu selittää vieläkin selvemmin. Opin kuitenkin taas paljon!
