Every hundred years, a maiden from our village is sacrificed to the sea god. This year, it is my turn. A plain woman in a family of beauties, my father gifts me to the sea monster who is feared by all.
He needs me for one reason To bear him an heir. Though I am scared of what our wedding night holds, I am reconciled to my duty. That is, until I lay eyes on him.
Zolthar might be a big, blue sea monster with tentacles, but there’s something fiercely attractive about him. When he looks at me with that hungry red gaze, I feel my body burning up with need. I want him to ravish me and take me against my will, to catch me when I run, and put his babies inside my stomach. It’s a good thing my monster husband wants the same thing.
And once I’m pregnant and filled with milk, he’ll drink from me me in front of his court.

2% plot, 98% smut. Read it for the smut. It however wasn't the greatest smut nor the worst, so 3 stars. Will probably continue with the other books more as a palate cleanser between other 'serious' books.
‘The Sea God’s Fertile Bride is a short erotic novella that’s heavy on the spice while still maintaining a little bit of a plot—though that plot is still heavily evolved around the spice. If you want a quick read in under an hour or two, then this book but be perfect for that.
I don’t usually rate things lower than a 4, but I did have to in this case. It wasn’t that the book was bad, because it wasn’t, it just wasn’t my entire cup of tea (hence the rating). Aside from the few spelling/grammar mistakes it read fairly well, but the language and pacing was quite quick.
If you enjoy breeding kink, primal play and tentacles then I would recommend to give this book a read as it’s PACKED full of it. It also does contain some pretty heavy lactation & milking scenes between the two main characters, which was a first for me. I thought I would give it a try, but unfortunately it just wasn’t something I really enjoyed (but that’s my personal preference!) but I’m glad I gave it a read.
Considering this is erotica, there is a LOT of spice! Like almost cover to cover spice so bare that in mind when you pick it up. There were a few trigger/content warnings that I’ll list below—most of which are listed by the author themselves at the beginning of the book.

‘The Sea God’s Fertile Bride is a quick erotic novella that’s packed to the brim with HEAVY breeding kink, primal kink, lactation/milking, oviposition and tentacles. So if you enjoy those kinks alongside some fated mates and forced marriage/sacrifice then for sure give this book a try! 3.5/5 stars!
Book Review The Sea God's Fertile Bride by Jade Swallow
Let me start by saying... WOW. This book took me on a tidal wave of emotions-and I didn't want to come up for air.
Let's talk peens... because oh boy, this Sea God doesn't just bring one to the table-he's packing two. And yeah, I pictured them. You will picture them too. Add in the fact that this god is big, blue, and has eight tentacles-and let's just say things get creative. Oh, and did I mention he's obsessed with breeding? Yeah, this god's singular goal is to fill his bride to the brim.
Now, breeding kinks aren't really my thing, but this? This was a wild ride. I was both blushing and clutching my pearls while speed-flipping pages like my life depended on it. Jade Swallow somehow makes tentacles and double trouble work-and I'm not even mad about it.
Also this is not a romance.. I'm not kidding-the steam in this book should come with a warning label. It's not just spicy; it's molten. This is pure god smut.
P.S. I may or may not be eyeing the nearest beach, hoping a sea god rises from the waves to claim me next.
““Aaahhh… She cries out in ecstasy as my cock fills her snug little pussy. My second cock rests over her clit and begins sucking. Her eyes close, streams of milk fountaining out of her full boobs.”
😂😭 This was my first book that I read from this author, and it was glorious in its terribleness. I mean, I was entertained, and will probably read at least another book or two, but as far as quality goes
Look, I can forgive typos, but that in conjunction with the stuffing and fountaining of body fluids and not to mention the extremely problematic body maneuvers? Things get switched around physically when one is being ravished by doggie style! Double 🍆🍆 comes (heh) with physical logistics! If ya can’t keep up with making it make sense, then stick (heh) to one!
No, I didn’t get turned on by any of it. But was still entertained, and that is why it merits at least 3 stars from me. 🤷🏻♀

These books, as the prologue states, get to the point quickly. You’ll either like it or you won’t. What I appreciate is that the FMC pleasure is always front and center. She may be apprehensive, but the MMC role is to make sure she’s comfortable and provides consent. The sexy sexy times are…different but to be expected given the title. But, it’s a quick and dirty read with an HEA.
I smile up at him. “I am so glad you brought me here. Oceanthis is my new home. You are my new home. “And you are mine, little rabbit. My lips close over his, and we’re lost in another long kiss.
2.5 Stars I liked the idea of this story, however the execution fell flat for me. There were errors throughout, (which the author did list in the trigger warning section, so thank you!) but that didn't bother me as much as the idea of the human living underwater. I just could not get my head around this concept. My brain switched between Sandy on Spongebob, and just trying to imagine what was written. I get the amulet that allowed her to breathe, but everyone else was swimming and she was walking or running. She continued to wear gowns until almost the end, but how did that work? When they were messing around, she was wet or drenched or soaked his hand. HOW?! I spent more time trying to figure out logistics than actually enjoying the book. It just didn't work for me.
This was exactly as advertised, and I read it in like two hours. My only complaint would be the fact that they were underwater the whole time, but it was written much of the time like they weren't. And then every once in a while the author would be like, "Oh, yeah. They're in water." A lot of the sexy time descriptions would not be as they were in an underwater setting. I, personally, would have gotten around that by having part of the palace be pockets of air. I honestly haven't read any mermaid romances...yet. Is this what they all do? The other thing that was a bit weird was that the dude laid eggs. Okaaaaay. So he just needed a womb then? Then how fertile did she need to be if she wasn't using any of her own eggs? And how was his eggs fertilized? Does this mean he is both male and female? Nothing wrong with that. I just need it explained to me because I thought it was odd.
Well. It did say it was erotica and not a romance so I have no right to be disappointed by a lack of romance but gosh darn it I am. For fated mates it was all sex and very little sweetness.
Monster (sea god) MMC. AGE GAP. YOU G INNOCENT curvy FMC. Primal kink. Breeding kink. Basically the whole novella is breeding. Oviposition. Fated mates. Lactation kink. Dubcon. Pubic sex. Double peen. DP. Huge cock. Monster cock. Pregnant sex. Pregnancy. No OMD (virgin FMC). No OWD. Epilogue with a 3 month old. No breakup. No angst.

I came for the smut but now I'm a bit unsatisfied because I was really digging the story aspect. Elena is a sacrifice to this sea god. Zolthar is a huge blue monster coming to take her. There is substance there but it gets glossed over, unfortunately.
(I do appreciate that Swallow states there are grammatical errors so just pardon them.)
*Le sigh* I just wanted more of Elena and Zolthar outside of their constant breeding antics 😒
Es un poco contradictoria la descripción de la fantástica historia. Para mi es romántica y refleja el puritanismo con el que crecemos algunas mujeres , la i formación errónea así como interpretación de los que consideran normal , me gusto

The plot was interesting, the typos were prolific!
The plot was interesting and it kept me engaged. However, the editing on this book was lacking in completion. Please do a second read before publishing.
This novella is all smut no plot, which is fine, but the actual writing is.not great. Weird language choice jump off the page, especially regarding anatomical descriptions.
2.5/5 stars. I liked the general plot and storyline of this book. However, I think it could have benefited from going through one or two more rounds of editing. There were quite a few grammatical errors and misspelled/missing words (I'd say every other page?). My ADHD brain gets distracted by those things and immediately takes me out of the story when I experience those kinds of 'speed bumps'.
There were also a lot of repetitive themes (i.e., if I have to read "her nipples were tight" ONE MORE TIME, I'm going to jump out the window). Also, I'm assuming this is in some sort of primitive/historical setting; could we please use a word other than 'pussy' every other second?
There were also a few inconsistencies I spotted (i.e., she mentioned early in the book that she's essentially a virgin and has never seen a male pee-pee, but when she sees 'his', she says its larger than any human's she's ever seen?). Also, I'd immediately be turned off in the sea monster who just took me as his bride and was trying to seduce me called me his 'cum slut'. Lastly, I'm confused about the lineage of the sea monster and why we don't see his mother or maternal grandmother (or even hear about them?). Heck, I'm even curious to know what happened to his father.
Some of my complaints could be chalked up as personal preference of course, so the rating more-or-less has to do with the inconsistencies, editing errors, etc.
I will call out that I LOVED the pace of this. I could finish it in one sitting, and I didn't feel like the author spent time on erroneous irrelevant details. I'd also like to note that I "DID" finish it - and I do have a tendency to DNF if I truly don't like the book, so that should be counted as something for those of you on the fence of reading this book. I'd say give it a shot since it's not terribly long and you could get through it in one sitting if you wanted to.
