I didn’t think I was gonna like this book at the beginning but the more I read it I began to really enjoyed the characters chemistry as well as the art style and characters development. The only thing I disliked about this book were the last 10 chapters. I felt like it was a bit of a stretch and didn’t necessarily end the way I anticipated. Other than that the book was very wholesome and cute and I would recommend it to pretty much anybody.

Define the Relationship was cute, hilarious at times and incredibly horny. Usually that's about all I need from a manhwa to get a high rating, but I did have some issues that I'll talk about at the end.
Overall this was a really good story. As someone who stopped reading omegaverse manhwas because of the dynamics between alphas and omegas (the level of toxicity that is the norm), getting back to the omegaverse with alpha x alpha dynamics was a good thing. It's different than what I'm used to in a good way. I loved Lyle's character. I just wanted to give him a hug sometimes. Ash was a big mystery to be for a big part of the story (since it's mostly told from Lyle's POV).
There were many moments in the story where I felt like I was missing some important piece of information, but to be fair this is originally a novel, therefore there are some things omitted and parts that can't translate properly to this format. Thankfully I read some comments with useful context, so the confusion only lasted a few chapters.
Lyle and Ash's relationship, at its core, is so so tender. They're really complex characters and their development made the story so interesting. We have Lyle's POV, where he can't stop second-guessing himself, always telling us as readers how he's feeling and what makes him insecure. But Ash sees a whole different person. To Ash Lyle's a mystery. He can't get a read on him because Lyle has spent his whole life trying so hard not to be a burden, that he can no longer externalize his feelings, he's always expressionless. At first I was frustrated with Ash because he seemed like a fuckboy and a bit sus at times. To be honest I was just waiting for him to show his true colors. But once you truly get his perspective, without taking into account Lyle's POV, it makes sense for Ash to be detached and goofy, he doesn't want to get hurt after all.
This is the type of "miscommunication" that I don't mind. It allowed the story to be a bit angsty and the romantic moments even better. I was giggling and kicking my feet the whole time. The things these two said to each other and how their relationship changed for the better once they defined it, was great. That's the progress and growth I love to read!
I had two issues with the story. One of the first intense spicy scenes between these two, Ash started to get rough with Lyle, and I had a problem with the way he handled it. I know for some people this was nothing, knowing that the usual omegaverse manhwas are so much worse. But as someone that is just starting to get back into reading it, it annoyed me how Ash never checked in with Lyle the things he wanted to include in their sex life. Lyle has no experience receiving and at the time his experiences having sex with omegas were not satisfying anymore. He never enjoyed sex because of the pressure of his responsabilities. Spending his ruts with omegas was rutine, no feelings or attachment involved. Then comes Ash, introducing him to this new dynamic in bed and Lyle's absolutely overwhelmed. Desire, lust and pleasure he has never felt before. In this context, Ash taking him over his limit even though Lyle asked him repeatedly to slow down and stop, was wrong. This shouldn't have happened to begin with, but I don't lower the rating more because Ash apologized and always made sure Lyle was alright from then on. It wasn't that Lyle didn't want to have sex with him, it was more like he needed a break to catch his breath and to process his feelings. I think I've only read one manhwa with safe words, but a safe word between Ash and Lyle would've made things so much better. My other issue with the story is the amount of filler chapters. Not because I didn't like them. They were adorable, but how can you give me a good ending and then have 30 more chapters? I was so scared something was going to go terribly wrong, because 30 chapters is a lot! But fortunately everything was fluff and spice with a few minor conflicts here and there. Nothing to worry about.

Read this series on Lezhin this year. And copy/pasting my review to all the volumes because I’m lazy
I really love this one. Mostly I love A/O/B verses that subvert the stereotypes and trends. Where we usually have alpha omega pairings or if an alpha meets a beta the beta finds out they were actually a recessive omega and wham bam we have the couple procreating. I think a lot of MM alpha omega romances are great and can subvert the genre by dealing with things like trans issues. Or challenging ideas around body types and personalities. Also sometimes it’s nice to just read a story about a couple having a very heteronormative baby making relationship. I read it all.
But it definitely can get to be too much and harmful stereotypes start to emerge so I adore this series because we get to see a relationship with two alphas development and that even in a universe where we have a secondary gender so men can have babies too, love and sexual attraction does not need to be dependent on whether a couple can reproduce together. In A/b/o universes since omega males have babies homophobia rarely comes up and M|M relationships are as normal as MF, (as are FF when the female alpha can impregnate the omega one way of another) but it ALL hinges on societal acceptance around making BABIES so obviously alphas would NEVER mate will other alphas or omegas with omegas. There are some other series where the author explores this with side couples but very few make the primary couple two alphas or they will make an exception rule for how that couple reproduces.
Basically I’m saying I love that this series doesn’t do that. That the couples relationship and their love for each other is the only relevant thing regardless of the social pressures they are getting to conform.
I also love their personalities and the emotional struggles they go through as the come to terms with their sexual preferences. And bonus the art is beautiful and the smut is 🥵
Ash Jones, the man that you are. I liked how Ash and Karlyle took the next step in their relationship and how Ash was there to reassure Karlyle and ease him of his worries. Karlyle had always been an anxious and insecure overthinker, and they've both come a long way from their days of miscommunication but of course, no relationship is perfect. Even so, Ash did his best so that Karlyle would rely on him and feel taken care of. They're so sweet and I liked reading about their domestic life together. The art is as always really good, and I love it when either Karlyle or Ash blushes because they're so cute.
The situation the main character was perfect for the story line, this helps meet his future lover who also helped him with his condition. Also the art style was soothing helping with the characters personality and the way the story grows, like during the new years or at the movie theater. I loved the plot and it was a new type of story for me.
