TRUST verb: to believe in the reliability, truth, or strength of another.

Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.
Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.
It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.
The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let go.
It’s time to let someone inside.

After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.
The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer Logan Mitchell.
Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident, successful lawyer.

Even though neither man expected the other, it’s time to trust in their relationship—but not everything comes so easily

The Temptation trilogy absolutely fucking ROCKED! All three books were incredible. Was there a plot? Fuck if I know! I just know that I consider it the pinnacle of dirty, delicious man-on-man action. The number one reason is because of the intense lust and chemistry and eventually love between MC Tate and MC Logan. This is definitely a one-handed read and I HIGHLY recommend it to all M/M romance enthusiasts looking for some good old fashion porn with emotion. As far as I'm concerned, that's the name of the game!

A series like this deserves some extra special gifs, so please only click if you are over 18 and can control your libido. Each gif represents a scene from the book, so if you dig these, READ THIS SERIES and enjoy the dirty, raunchy ride.

Forth re-read: 14.08.2021
Since I re-read book one and two, I had to finish this one as well. Don't think I'll go past this one in this re-reading though. Btw there was one thing that I noticed that annoyed me a bit and that was the constant: "Logan?" or "Tate?"; it was almost all the time and both of them did it. For example like this:
“Oh, and Logan?
“Yeah? he breathed out on a sigh.
“I haven’t even started to be demanding…yet.

Third re-read: 21.04.2021
I will repeat myself again: there's a thing called too much sex, and this series has it. That said, I got emotional at some parts - you know which ones if you have read it...

Second re-read: 11.10.2020
This series actually has too much sex. I know, I know, the sex is hot, but when it's too much of it, it kinda gets boring. Even though that's the couple's way of communicating. So I skimmed a little bit here and there, but it's still an alright read that made me smile. I wish that this series showed Logan being a lawyer. I wanna see him in action...

⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*I have so changed*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱

Re-read: 23.04.2018
Since second book was a successful (of sorts) re-read, I of course, decided to re-read this one as well. It turned out to not such a bad idea. Sure, it wasn't a great read, but it wasn't as bad as I remembered it. It's so strange how, in my re-read, I liked the second and third book in the series, yet disliked the first one. Quite much. I barely got through it. But this one was alright this time around. Overall, I didn't mind the cheesiness - which apparently got on my nerves in my first read - and I actually wanted more. More personal feelings and development between the characters. However, just as with the second book's second re-read; there was too much sex. I wanted more story and plot. Sure, the sex is hot, but I had a tendency to skim it.
New Rating: 3 stars

“I love you, he said, and as Logan looked at him, he reached for his hands. “I had no idea when you first sat down across from me that night—no idea what I’d been missing, Tate whispered. “It was you.

Other characters:
Cole Madison, Logan's (half) brother and business partner at the law firm, Mitchell & Madison. Rachel ‘Rach, a pastry chef and Cole's wife.
Diana Cline, Tate’s ex-wife. A bitch.
Jill, Tate's sister. Another bitch; they are bitches together. Her husband, Sam.
Mason ‘Mase Langley, Rachel’s brother and runs the restaurant Exquisite downtown, which he and Rachel owns. Has a little girl named Catherine. His wife Lena, a pediatrician.
Joshua ‘Josh Daniels, a client and friend of Cole’s. Has a daughter named Savannah. He owns Creative Construction & Remodeling Company (I think). His wife Shelly, a pulmonologist.
Robbie, a complete flirt. Works at The Daily Grind as a barista.
Christopher ‘Chris Walker, Logan's ex and a abusive (with words), manipulative bastard. Owns half of the biggest architecture firm in Chicago.
Evelyn Mitchell, Logan’s mother.
Daniel Finley, lawyer at Leighton & Associates; the best in the business when it came to personal injury claims.

“So I’m daring you. Wake up. Wake up and tell me that you were right. That you’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. Logan sucked in a shaky breath and then let it out as he ran his eyes over Tate’s body. “And that I never stood a chance. I love you, and I’m not letting you go. Not now, not ever. I can be stubborn too. Got it?

First read review:
Not the best in this series. In fact, it was the worst. However, it did make me teary at one point or two in the book. Other than that, it was pretty boring, cheesy and really cute. Really, it was cute. Probably too cute. All the lovey-dovey feeling it gave me? Naaah, I wanted something more. Sure, it's awesome that they are happy and that their sex is great, but I wanted more from the story. It was a nice (though horrifying and terrifying) twist in the book (yes, the one that made me teary) because you really understood how much Logan Mitchell (34) and William Tate Morrison (30) meant to each other. Overall, I'm glad I'm done with this series, and with the couple. I do have to say though, that the ride wasn't all that bad...
“I'll never see you that way again. Because Before this, I didn't know you were essential for me to feel alive.

Oi.

This review feels awkward to write. Why? Well, because I went into this books with high expectations, but I didn't end up loving it as much as I wanted to. The first half of the book I loved. It felt great to be reunited with one of my most beloved couples. I loved their personalities, banter, and sexiness. After a bit though I kept waiting for something to happen- which it did---> I won't put it under a spoiler because it's a biggie and I don't want to tempt anyone to read it. Once that wrapped up- everything was so honky dory and felt like a filler. There was no conflict. Also, I didn't see the point of bringing back. He didn't add anything to the story. I don't know... I think the hardest thing to say is- this story could've been done in two books.

In the end, this was a 3.5 Star read for me. I struggled with whether to round up or down. I love this author and these characters. It's sad to say goodbye to them. But because there was quite a bit of skimming done in the second half- I'm rounding down. I am still a huge fan of Ella Frank and I look forward to reading some more delicious M/M Romance from her.

For serious though, the places this book went were very unexpected - for me at least - and I just loved it.

There were feels and anguish and it was like crack to an addict.

Granted, there were some unnecessary plot threads and some friction points that were presented and left dangling, but honestly?

Homie.

Don't.

Care.

...I didn't know you were essential for me to feel alive.

Ella Frank's books are like a one-two punch. One to the ovaries and the other straight to the feels. She has this incredible ability to combine heart wrenching emotion with panty-melting eroticism. It makes each and every single one of her books unputdownable reads. When I first read I knew I had one of those books on my hands. I was head over heals for Tate and Logan. Hell, who am I kidding? I was basically all

Their story has been an exercise in control for me. While each book in this trilogy had a satisfactory ending it also always left you begging for more and the wait for the next book was absolute torture. So to say I was anticipating the conclusion to their story would be a HUGE understatement. I was downright dying for it.
His motto of "try, take, and top" had changed.
Oh, he'd tried Tate all right, and they'd both done a helluva lot of taking, but for once in his life, Logan didn't feel the desire to win. He didn't need to come out on top.
What he wanted was Tate's trust- his ABSOLUTE trust.

If you're going into this expecting that same ovary devastating chemistry, let me put you at ease because boy will you get that. A whole lot of it. Logan will melt every panty within a 20 mile radius. Guaranteed.

The man who was plowing into him over and over had lost any decorum his suit and tie afforded and had morphed into a man who was taking exactly what he wanted, HOW he wanted- and Tate fucking loved it.

But this was not just a whole lot of hot sex. Well, don't get me wrong, because there was still plenty of that. But beyond that it was an incredibly emotional story and you get much more depth to both these characters in the process. Now I would advise you to read as little reviews of this book as possible before reading it because you really want to be heading into it as blind as you can. And for that reason, my review will also be quite vague in terms of details.

I devoured, absolutely devoured the first half of this book. It brought out such a wide array of feelings in me, from lust to heart wrenching emotion. I couldn't put it down.
Frustrating?" he mocked. "No, you know what's frustrating? When you see someone you really want to fuck and can't because they keep saying no. I've been frustrated. This....this is agony. Torment beyond anything I've ever felt before.

Get ready for a roller coaster of emotion with this one. And that's all you'll be getting from me.

So why am I not rating this as highly as the first two books? Well, a couple of reasons. The main one, is even though I really enjoyed it, I just didn't love it as much as the first two books. Somewhere around the second half I found myself growing a little bored. I still read it in one sitting because I just had to know how it all came together, but it just didn't grab me as much as the first half. Dare I say it almost felt a little stretched out? See I'm one of those ridiculous readers that has terrible book ADD when it comes to reading about the same couple in several books. So perhaps that may have been the biggest reason for my disconnect? There were a lot of things addressed that I had hoped would be and I was extremely satisfied with that. But there was also a character that made an appearance in this book that quite frankly I wasn't quite sure of the purpose behind it. This character made an appearance, stirred some shit up (kinda), and then left. I'm not even sure their appearance was necessary at all really. But that's just me.

Aside from those reasons, I truly did enjoy this conclusion to this incredible romance. Tate and Logan are definitely going to remain in my top favorite list of MM couples I've read for a long while. I fell in love with these boys in the very first book, and I just fell for them all over again if not harder in this book. So while it may not have been a 5 star read for me, it was still a fantastically solid 4 stars and one I'd definitely recommend to any lovers of MM romance. You just haven't lived until you've met Tate and Logan. Trust me. Your ovaries will thank you.

3.25 trusting stars

After I slept on it, I'm taking away a star. According to GR's I liked this book, I didn't really like or love it. :/ Remember everyone, 3 stars ain't the devil!

Try was my first ever M/M book and I completely fell for Tate and Logan right from the beginning. It feels like we've been on this journey with them forever, and I loved most of it.

In Trust Tate and Logan must learn how to plan their futures with the other one in it. Tate has fears about his future careers while Logan just want Tate in his life. On top of that Logan's sleazy ex boyfriend keeps entering the picture and making it clear he wants another romp with Logan. Tate still has his family issues to work through. Can they both rely on one another and trust the other one to be there?

I was slightly disappointed with this last book. There were so many issues that I felt were just brushed over and swept under the rug.

-Tate's family: Yes we get a little bit more from them, but not really. I know it's a time and process thing but I wanted a bit more. Good or bad.

-Tate's issues with Logan's money: This was a real big one. Tate is not the type of man to have someone else taking care of him. He wants to make his own way. The way this issue was handled was a little too la dee dah for me, but it did work itself out. Easily. Too easily.

-And I never thought I would complain about this but here I go: THERE WAS TOO MUCH SEX. It took away from the steaminess. There were literally points in the book where I was like "Are they having sex AGAIN?!" and then I proceeded to skim. SKIM I tell you!!! It was great in the beginning, but it felt like the plot was pushed aside for these scenes.

Things I loved:

-Well duh, Logan and Tate. Their commitment and loyalty to one another is admirable, and their love for one another beautiful. I'm glad these two got their happy ending.

-Rachel (and no, not because we share a name): I liked getting to know more of her, she's a spunky character with lots of layers and I may have to go back and read her and Cole's book. And as a side note, Cole was awesome too.

I know my complaints outweigh my positives, but I really did enjoy this book. I loved the first two books more, but I'm so glad I read these books and broadened my romance horizons with this series.

Ella Frank, you are Queen of the Feels!!!

5 LOGAN AND TATE STARS <3 <3

I devoured this book! It was everything I wanted and more!! Yet again Ella Frank has proved what an amazing author she truly is! Whatever type of book she writes you just know it's going to be brilliant! I'm not big fan of M/M books but I loved Tate and Logan, they made my heart melt!! Their story is intense, sensual, hot, funny and sweet!

description

I will refrain from giving too much away and spoiling the fun. As I said before the story is so beautiful and it made me feel so many things and I believe you should read it and feel without spoilers!

I love Tate and the fact that he shows his more vulnerable and softer side in this book. His character has grown and evolved so much since the first book. Finally he has the confidence he needed! Now he is protective, strong and dirty talking as Logan! Logan is simple amazing, I loved him so much! If I start talking about him I will not stop really!!He is arrogant (in a good way), funny, possessive ,hot as hell, dirty talking! He is so in love with Tate !I haven't read such an amazing and powerful relationship between two men as I found in this book. Their connection is very deep! And their love scenes except of being so hot they were so intense!! They fit so perfectly together!

description

This series is exactly for someone who haven't read a M/M book I think it's a great start!! Fans of Ella Frank, don't hesitate to read this amazing series!!

6/23/16 - Coasting along with my audiobook "re-read"

------------------------------------------------
***4.5 So Sad It's Over Stars***

I'm going to start this review by being completely honest...I am 100% biased when it comes to this series and Tate & Logan. You have been warned.

I will start off by saying that this book definitely has a different "feel" than the previous two. Don't get me wrong, it's got all the steam and raunchiness that you expect from these boys, but it also has a lot more heart and emotion.

Tate and Logan have been through so much in their relationship, and it's damn satisfying to see them finally find their footing and fully let go with each other. I don't want to give anything away as this book really should be experienced without any spoilers, but possibly have some tissues nearby.

The trademark steam that we've come to expect from this dynamic duo was here, plentiful and greatly appreciated!

"What can I say? I like sleek, sexy things between my legs. Makes sense since I fucking love having you there."

description

"Tonight, your ass is mine."

He picked his helmet up, well aware of the wild eyes tracking him. Logan looked like a caged animal, and Tate couldn't wait to unleash him.

description

"See the corner of the mattress over there? Feel free to bite it when I'm fucking you so hard your throat is hoarse from shouting."

description

Watching these two surrender physically was hot as hell, but seeing them finally surrender emotionally was absolutely melt your heart swoony!

"There's something about you. In the way you are. It pulls me in, Logan. I can't imagine knowing you and not feeling it."

Especially our usual sarcastic and witty Logan!

"Because before this, I didn't know you were essential for me to feel alive."

description

In all fairness, this book plot wise, was probably the weakest in the trilogy. Not much "happened" here, but that didn't really bother me. Like I said...biased! I'm so in love with these characters, that I'd be satisfied just reading a snippet of what a trip to the grocery store would be like for these two! I will say, however, that one character's appearance irked me a bit. His presence really wasn't fleshed out and developed so it felt out of place. He appeared, brought along some bruhaha, and then disappeared. For that reason alone, I had to be a wee bit honest in my gushing and knock off half a star.

This is a series that I'm so terribly sad to see end and characters that I'm heartbroken to say goodbye to. I'm hoping we'll get some snippets of Tate and Logan in the future, but until then I'm happy to know that they're in a good place, deeply in love, and probably fucking each other's brains out at every given opportunity!

Thus, I end my review...giving Logan the last word.

"What I can't seem to get enough of? When the guy I love is strong enough to stand up beside me and hold my fucking hand but is ALSO strong enough to pin me down and pound me into my mattress."

-------------------------------------------
Pre-Release

I ask for the strength to have patience while waiting for this book.

And whenever I feel myself slipping into despair, I'll remind myself

Because Tate and Logan

SURPRISE!!!! TRUST IS LIVE ON AMZ! -

5++ F*ckhot Yet Emotional Stars!

Trust
, the third and final installment in Ella Frank's Temptation series, didn't fail to deliver everything I needed in a perfect MM read. Logan Mitchell and Tate Morrison are, quite frankly, my FAVORITE gay couple. It amazes me that this series is Ella Frank's "cherry popping" into the MM genre. She has truly written this erotic love story like a seasoned MM author- Flawless. Emotional. Scorching. But I digress...

Trust, although only encompassing the length of about three months time, carries these two men through a plethora of trials and tribulations. I'm keeping my review vague for a reason. This book is best experienced as the events happen and not with any pre-conceived notions. Just know that this book will elicit such a wide range of emotions, you'll feel as if you've went through it right alongside these two amazing men. You name the emotion- you'll feel it in this installment.

What I CAN say is that I LOVE the growth between both Tate and Logan. Anyone that's followed their love story from Try and on to Take, we know how arrogant and self-assured Logan has been. Tate, coming off a messy heterosexual divorce, started out stubborn but, in the end, has been nothing but honest with Logan... even when his confusion regarding his own sexuality and his family's acceptance of them caused him major stress. Prior to Trust, it's already been a long journey but it's far from over. Trust will test their relationship like never before. Can the arrogant, non-committal dirty-talkin' Logan finally see his feelings for Tate are immeasurable? Can Tate accept himself for who he is and commit his love and trust in Logan as well?

Aside from the emotional journey this book will DEFINATELY take you on, we get the steam-filled, off the charts f*ckhot sex scenes we know this author can write! Woah! Ella Frank can write some seriously hot man on man lovin'! And let's just say, Tate starts getting more...confident in topping Logan. This was seriously one of my favorite scenes in the book... I don't think Logan knew what hit him...but I'm sure he felt it.

As a diehard MM reader, I need a mix of several elements to make the book really work for me. First and foremost, I need masculine characters. Ella Frank excels at delivering two MCs who are confident, masculine, albeit slightly cocky...and perfect. I also LOVE the GFY trope. The perfect plotline for me, coupled with a slow build sexual tension where the reader is ready to combust right along with them. A particular scene had them sexing it up in front of a large mirrored wall. Holy smokes...I felt as if I was a voyeur in the room. Scorching hawt.

"Open your eyes and see how amazing you are," he said. (...) "Your body was made to be against mine."

Tate panted, "Love how you feel behind me." (...)

"That makes me real happy to hear, Tate, 'cause your about to feel a whole lot more of me behind you."

I can honestly say, the emotional aspect of this book trumped all else...even the sexy side. THIS book is their true love story. No unnecessary drama thrown in for plot devices, just sh*t life throws at you that makes you stop in your tracks and realize what truly is important...who is truly important.

Trust brings us full circle with all the side characters we've read along the way with Ms Frank...Cole and Rachel and Shelly (Josh) all get fairly decent cameos within this book. I forgot how much I loved Cole and Rachel. I'm so happy to see their HEA.

As I'm sad to see this series come to an end, I'm happy to see where all the characters currently stand in their lives. All have gone thru their fair share of strife but stayed true to their love and commitment for one another. Ella Frank has a new niche in writing MM romance and I truly hope she continues down that path. I'd highly recommend this series to readers new to the genre or those that are unsure about it. She creates a cast of characters the reader can't help but become emotionally connected to...coupled with the off-the-charts sexiness of two hard bodies going at it, it's virtually unputdownable! Give it a ... a chance... me, you won't be disappointed.

And I thank you!

SURPRISE RELEASE: NOW LIVE>>>>

Try ~
Take ~
Trust ~

4.5 final endings Stars

First off I never expected to fall in love with this series as much as I did that's not saying I don't love Ella's books because Yessss I do she's one of my go to authors except I suppose for me in the first instalment it was an Insta lust read and therefore they crept up on me gradually, except after reading Take and now Trust I can honestly say that these boys are my favourite M/M romance EVER and I love these boys HARD!!!

I don't want to ruin this book for you so I'm keeping the plot and storyline secret so I'm just going to explain my thoughts and feelings with you.

I devoured this read any spare moment I had free I read it and any time I couldn't read I was thinking about this delicious couple and the LOVE they share towards each other. Back in Try it was such a sex driven fun and erotic read that had me seeking my husband at any given moment, except what blew me away in Take was the emotional moments and strength both these men had. So here in Trust I loved it so much I think because of the character growth I have fell in love with them Individually and together as a couple and that had me hooked from page one here in Trust.

Logan Logan, Logan, dare I say that he's my favourite? You see he comes across as a cocky dominant and a self centred man, a man that knew what he wanted and he wanted Tate so he got him. Except underneath he is vulnerable and just wanted to be loved and savoured by the one person he was falling for. Tate is all he wants, he may love his brother and sister in Law but he's very much in-love with Tate and he just wants his approval, he seeks Tate's Trust in him above all. Except in this last instalment Logan's vulnerability shined through for me in certain plot developments that pushed Logan's boundaries and made him stand up and fight for his other half or at least be patient for him. In return can Tate Trust Logan to give him what he wants can Tate let go of his worries and then just be there and love his partner and be in love with the one person who was just meant to be a TRY.

What I love about this couple is that Logan just wanted Tate to try him and yet here in Trust there growth has become stability in each other, they're meant for one another and truly their love for one another shines though the pages and the words to me were flawless and beautiful. Their relationship wasn't to me essentially about two men but more so about two people who are just meant to be together because you can't help who you fall in love with can you?.

This development was an emotional story and the development of the characters were forefront above the sex so because of that the sex scenes were raw, intense and primal therefore I connected to them both MORE because of the development of the emotional side to their LOVE STORY.

Tate
Lets talk a little about the man that at the beginning was STRAIGHT. He to me was a much stronger character in the epic finale and I was egging him to take the lead and become the stronger man I felt he did just that.

As their eyes met, Tate told him, "Just so we're clear, this is me making you bend to my will," and then he surged forward with one deep thrust.

"Deep, Tate. Get in deep. I want to feel it tomorrow."

"I'll never see you that was again. Because before this, I didn't know you were essential for me to feel alive."

"Your body was made to be against mine."

Do I need to go on??? I just felt like these two were a match made in heaven no disregard that they were a gay couple and together they completed each other.

Ella has a way that grabs hold of your every being, I felt like I wasn't intruding in on them but living breathing and loving their relationship right alongside them. What I love about Ella Franks writing is how natural and real she is to the characters and who they are, and that's exactly what she did with Logan and Tate she was true to their relationship and to them as individuals. They were one of the most sensual loving and beautiful couples I have EVER read period, I will FOREVER remember them and think of them for a time to come time and ultimately they're my favourite M/M reads. I highly recommend it to everyone who loves Romance because this was a romance/erotic read that grew on me with each instalment.

The only issue I had in this one and that is the sole reason I have dropped a half star but its only a half was because there is a certain character that I got slightly confused about and didn't understand why that person was involved in this book in the first place. (This is just my opinion).

Overall if you want an emotional story that will grip you, where you will fall in love with Logan & Tate and fall for them as people, enjoy a sensual couple with drop your panties NOW scenes then this is most definitely your next read.

This is part of a series and should not be read alone.
Reading order~

Oh man, I'm probably going to be shunned for this....but this one just didn't do it for me.

Maybe I shouldn't have read all three books back to back?

But this book just wasn't needed. I stand by my thoughts on the first book being the best!

The addition of Chris in this book....

Why was he even in this book?

Don't get me wrong.....it wasn't all bad. But the good was just repeated over and over again! So it felt repetitive! And it felt like filler. And I was bored. And skimmed....even the sex!

The drama/conflict.....

I mean it could have been worse. I'll leave it that.

I fell in love with a side character even more in this book.....Robbie! I would LOVE for him to get a book. A BOOK! Singular! One! But don't make that Finley guy his love interest!

Still a huge fan of this series and Ella Frank! I'm just a standalone book kind of a girl. What can I say?

this was a perfect end to the series

so this book continues the cute lil love story of tate and logan. if you read my review of the first book you know that i had some hesitations with the initial get together. logan is openly bisexual and tate was... straight? but as the series continues you don't feel like tate's gay for pay lol. there is a genuine and PRECIOUS relationship between the two men.

i really appreciate the dynamic between the two men. they both have distinct personalities but are both allowed vulnerabilities and sensitivity. which is SO important. whether the relationship is hetero or not, i like knowing that both characters are capable of opening up and being emotional. too often we get a real alpha male who is like SORT OF nice to his partner and then a dick to the whole world. not really the case here and i LOVE IT.

these books are very slice of life-y (and very smutty) so i don't really want to ruin what little plot there is. just know that this is a VERY satisfying ending. i think these can kind of get tedious so i wouldn't say you have to continue beyond this one (i believe the author only intended to write 3 books). that being said, i'm currently reading the fourth book ;)

“His motto of “try, take, and top had changed.
Oh, he’d tried Tate all right, and they’d both done a helluva lot of taking, but for once in his life, Logan didn’t feel the desire to win. He didn’t need to come out on top.
What he wanted was Tate’s trust—his absolute ٰܲ.

First and foremost I have to say that I loved the dedication..

To Tate,
Before this, I didn’t know you were essential for me to feel alive.
- Logan

To say that I was excited to read the conclusion of Logan and Tate’s story it’s a big understatement. Once again, with this third and final installment, Ella Frank proves how talented and versatile she is as an author. I didn’t have any idea how the story will progress after the final revelation in the previous installment. But, I was more than eager to find out how these two characters will TRUST each other after they risked it all and decided to TAKE what they want in book2. This final book is emotional and sexy in equal measure and in my opinion it was a satisfying conclusion.

“This was what Logan wanted more than anything else—moments just like this, where he saw glimpses of Tate that no one else did.

In only a few months Logan had gone from a man who ran from commitments to one who wants and needs more from a certain bartender. He’s the same impulsive, bossy and smart-mouthed man, but he is more than that. He’s a man who fell fast and hard, a man who wants more, a man who needs Tate's trust. Tate needs Logan’s trust as well. He needs Logan to trust in him and to trust his choices. And both of them need to trust they are capable to give each other what they need.

“There’s something about you. In the way you are. It pulls me in, Logan. I can’t imagine knowing you and not feeling it.

“Tate had the power to make him tremble from passion and from pain—and he trusted him with his very soul.

description

This installment was for me more about the development of Logan and Tate’s relationship. I loved how their relationship evolved, how they became...more. Their relationship is no longer fragile. They know who they are and what they want to be with each other - , but they are just humans, with fears and insecurities. While I liked these two men individually, I loved them together. They are good for each other, they are perfect together. All they need is each other.

description

Ella Frank knows very well, I could say, how to create amazing chemistry between characters. We saw that in the other books in the series and we see it and FEEL it in this book as well. The sexual tension and the teasing between these two men are fantastic and the sex scenes...oh, my...hot as hell. They are intense, detailed and so well written. Loved them!

“The way your face gets so serious, like you’ll kill anyone who dares to interrupt your pleasure. And so you should, because, Logan? ...You’re so fucking sexy when you’re turned on. The thought of your come inside me definitely made my balls ache, but it was the thought of filling your ass with mine that really sent me over the edge.

description

The side characters were all great here, especially Logan’s brother, Cole. I have to say I loved their relationship and the way they interacted with each other.

I enjoyed this book, but I can’t say I loved it! And one of the reasons is it dragged a little bit IMO. Also I would have liked an epilogue, especially since it’s the end of a series. But this is just a personal preference. Since at the end of book2 is introduced a new character, a man from Logan’s past, I expected him to play a different role in this installment. Well, he didn’t, but I can’t complain. However I don’t think his appearance was necessary.

All in all, “Tܲ was a great conclusion to Ella Frank’s Temptation’s series. If you love to read m/m romance, then I definitely recommend this series.

“Tate smiled up at the ceiling and let his eyes fall shut. Nothing that they hadn’t already said with their bodies needed to be spoken.
They had already given to each other everything.

Reread March 2020

These two remain one of my favorite couples. And even though I knew what was going to happen I still balled at one point. The pain and hurt were real feeling and it broke my heart.

Reread September 2017

I just love these two so much. I love their banter. I love their dirtiness. I love that they're both alpha but they can submit too. I love how they're possessive of each other. And I love that with each book, their relationship grew and developed into an all encompassing love. This one was a bit more emotional I think. At one point, I was almost balling. I'm excited for more of these two.

Originally read August 2016

I have to say, this series has kept me engaged and reading. It was hot and dirty but emotional as well. I went directly from one book to the next. I absolutely love these two and they will definitely be at the top of my favorite couples list.

Each book has a little drama to be settled but it is fixed quickly and not any overly done angst. At times, my heart hurt for them but they work out their issues and both learn to adjust. They were just so amazing with each other and were exactly what the other needed.

One thing I LOVED about Logan and Tate, is that they were BOTH dirty talkers and alpha. They were so possessive of each other and I ate up every stinking minute of it.

I have to say, I wish there was a little more resolution with Tate's family and Logan's mom. I wanted to see some repentance or SOMETHING. I felt like things were left unsettled there and I didn't like it.

My only real complaint though, would be, I want MORE of them. I NEED to know what their future holds. This will definitely go down as one of my all time favorite series and keeping my fingers crossed we will get some more of Logan and Tate.

3.5 Stars...

Temptation really has been an amazing series. I know I only gave TRUST 3.5 stars but in the end I only ended up liking it and not loving it. As a whole though, Logan Mitchell and Tate Morrison’s story was pretty freaking amazing.

When I decided to read Try (book #1) I was more than a little nervous. I was VERY nervous. I had never read an M/M book and I didn’t think it was going to be my cup of tea. Well, I am happy to report that after finishing this series I am now a fan and will certainly be exploring more of this genre. I’m being told that I absolutely must meet these two guys named Ty Grady and Zane Garrett of the Cut & Run series. :)

What I really enjoyed was getting back in the heads of Logan and Tate. At the end of Take I was left feeling uncertain where these two were headed and I needed to know what would come of them.

Tate ~ is my favorite. For me his emotions and reactions always felt raw and very real. He was funny, controlling and uber sexy. I relish his ability to tease Logan to the extreme as well as his ability feed Logan’s desires.

Logan ~ I loved watching him unravel in this one. I needed to see more than just his sexy, demanding and unrelenting self. All that was super hot but I needed to see a different side of him. And I got that. There was a piece of Logan that was somewhat fragile and for me this piece completed him.

Logan and Tate had finally reach a point in their relationship where neither of them doubted what they wanted from each other but each of them still needed to figure out how they were going to make it all work. Logan had decided what the next step would be for the two of them and needed Tate to want it too. And Tate did, but it was taking him a little longer to agree to that next step.

The one part of Logan and Tate’s relationship that was the strongest was the sex. I have to say, there is something uniquely sensual about a man loving another man and these two have certainly set the bar pretty high for me. Their desire was intense and I loved that about them. And in Try and Take there was a lot of that. In Trust it was there but it was softened by new emotions.

There is a lot that changes for Logan and Tate and there is a lot that stays the same. The first half of the book sucked me in and I was getting excited that things were spinning in the direction I was hoping for. Then as I got into the second half of the book things started to flat line for me. Little by little I was losing all that excitement. Don’t get me wrong, I was still invested in them but I was getting a little bored.

I’ll give some kudos to Logan’s brother Cole. I loved him. And Rachel was great too. Both of them added the extra something that was needed. I think Logan and Tate are where they both should be and the ending was good. I just wanted it to be great....I just wanted a little bit more.

"I'll never see you that way again.Because before this,I didn't know you were essential for me to feel alive"

LOGAN

TATE

THE STORY picks up right where book two ended with the introduction of Chris,Logan's ex...now I don't know if it's just me but I didn't get his whole point in the story as his character just sort of phases out after about a third of the book

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the first half of the book but after a Dramatic event around 50% the story just kind of stumbled along for me

Logan and Tate are EXTREMELY HOT together and Tate has got to be one of the SEXIEST Male characters ever

This book was all about their developing relationship and their sexual chemistry is great but...and I can't believe I'm saying this , the sex while it was SMOKING HOT , I just started to get a bit bored with it..but HOLY HELL ...........

I have to say the scene where they were watching each other in the mirror was VERY EROTIC !!

To me there were also some unresolved issues

So while this book fell a little short for me I have got to say I have really enjoyed this series overall and Try is one of my favourite M/M Books.....

Loved... Love...Loved ... with cherry on top
To Tate,

Before this, I didn’t know you were essential for me to feel alive.

- Logan

“You ready for this, Tate?

“Tate was practically panting as Logan’s breath ghosted over his lips before he reached for his tie and tugged at the knot. When it was undone and he began to pull it free, he held Logan’s stare and said the one thing he figured would get the strongest reaction. “Anything else, sir?
The hotness and intensity were off the charts... Dont read in public places.

Enjoyed this installment so very much. Loved it even more than first books and highly recommended to all MM fans.

A series really is something special when you find yourself loving each book just as much if not more than the one before it. That happens to be true with this one. I have enjoyed each book in this series so far and I am looking forward to what is to come from these men now that I know there will be more books.

Tate and Logan are one of my favorite couples. They have an epic kind of love that slays through all the bullshit that life has thrown their way. They love hard and encourage each other with sweet words. Their relationship is stronger than ever especially after the horrific ordeal they both faced in this book. I won't spoil it and say what it was for those who have yet to read the series. (WTF? There are people who haven't read this series? I know right?! Crazy!) lol OK, moving on.

The turmoil Logan goes through in this one had me tearing up. I could not fathom having to wait on the sidelines with no information coming to me on the person I love more than anyone or anything. It broke my heart. Just saying that is spoiler enough so I will end it there.

This book was a great look at how far these men have grown. But not only in their relationship with each other, but with their family and within themselves. Tate is such a stronger person and more confidant in who he is. His love for Logan is unmovable and so vibrant you can feel it come off the pages. Logan has let down a lot of his walls and let himself be more vulnerable with not only Tate but with his brother too. It was good to see him embrace his feelings and allow other's in. His love for Tate is powerful and indestructible. Like I said before, they got an epic kind of love.

If you haven't read this series you are missing out.

Happy reading dolls! xx

The Temptation Series is wrapped up with Ella Frank’s final installment, Trust. We were left with a bit of a shocking end to Take and I know I was dying to see how everything was going to play out.

I am not going to tell you about the story. I think the blurb speaks for itself. What I am going to do is tell you all about my feels. And there were a lot of feels.

I think starting at the beginning might help me explain this best. It was June of 2013 and I was reading Edible. A character (that although was introduced by name prior) entered the story and stole the show. Logan Mitchell. I knew in that instant that I wanted his book. I needed it. And I waited for it. That story finally came with Try and was so much more than I ever could have imagined. Not only did Ella give us all a dose of cocky Logan, she matched his ego with Tate. The very straight, stubborn bartender. I mean, really?! Who pairs up one very bisexual character with one who is determined to remain straight? It was eff’n brilliant.

As we get to Trust, these two characters already have my heart. I’ve watched them both overcome their issues. Logan, settling down and loving someone letting someone in. Tate, admitting his attraction to Logan, risking the loss of his family. Both of these men found strength through their vulnerability.

I had an idea going into Trust that we’d get a decent mix of dealing with the final lingering issues of both men. Logan and his own trust/love issues due to how he was raised and treated early in his adulthood. And Tate, who is now living a life he never thought with a lack of support of his family. This set up gave us two very vulnerable men who made it so easy to love them.

I cried. A lot. Not so because somethings were just sad but because somethings were just so damn happy. I was a mess. I loved these innocent stolen moments when you just knew that these two men filled something vacant in one another. And that moment when they recognized it, and thought about it... well that just made me cry like a baby. It sounds corny, but it sort of restored a bit of lost hope for me.

Logan & Tate were my first M/M read and still to date my favorite. And let’s not forget the sex. I didn’t think the scenes could get any hotter, then they did. Each sex scene in this book escalated as the story went further. I loved that every aspect of this story was building up as the story progressed, everything felt perfectly timed and placed. And although there are two books by Ella Frank that have always been pretty much tied for my favorite Tate and Logan are my favorite characters of them all.

It’s sad to say goodbye to them and to the rest of the characters from the Exquisite Series. I know that Ella will have plenty of fantastic books in her future, but for this reader this six book cross over series set, is pretty much where she stole my heart and made me a fan and I will forever hold them high on my list of favorites. I can’t wait to see what she brings us next.

Logan and Tate. What a fucking enigma. These two were two souls bound together and fuck, I love and adore them both so much.

Initial rating: 4
New rating: 5 stars ✨⭐⭐⭐

“I love you, he said, and as Logan looked at him, he reached for his hands. “I had no idea when you first sat down across from me that night—no idea what I’d been missing, Tate whispered. “It was you.

I don't even know what to even say other than I'm happy, sad, melancholic, nostalgic, proud, in awe, and utterly blown away by the magnitude of the storm that is the power of Logan and Tate.

Let Logan and Tate be a fucking pillar of hope to following your dreams and continuing to fall even when you don't know where you'll ever land.

As they came to the entry of the park and wandered inside, Tate glanced over at him and really seemed to be contemplating him before he said, “I think there’s something about you that just…
Logan pulled him to a stop. “That just?
Tate touched his cheek and simply said, “Calls to a part of me. And I don’t think it would’ve mattered what age we were.
Logan blinked at him, trying to think of something to say, but he had nothing. No one had ever said something so honest to him in all his life. As always, Tate continued to be the one person who could surprise him—just when he thought he’d heard everything.
“There’s something about you, Tate tried to explain as he traced his fingers along his jaw. “In the way you are. It pulls me in, Logan. I can’t imagine knowing you and not feeling it. He stepped toward him, right there in the middle of the park on a busy Saturday morning, and took his lips in a kiss so fucking sweet that Logan had to clutch his arms to keep from falling over. Then Tate raised his head and whispered, “It just took me a few days to see it.

🌙 I'm dropping a star because even though this book was the longest of three “initial series, I still feel like I wanted more. I feel like there were so many cut off scenes, and places where action was skipped or fast forwarded. I just wanted to see Logan and Tate together and although we did get that, I just wanted them to not constantly having to fight the tragedy that finds their ways. 🌙

To Tate,
Before this, I didn’t know you were essential for me to feel alive.

Well, this is awkward. Ella Frank is one of my very fave authors and this series was my first M/M series ever. The first two books blew me away. I own signed copies of both. As much as it breaks my heart though, I still have to be honest. This book was not her best. Although there were some good parts, I spent the majority very BORED.

This series should have been a duo...there was not enough story to sustain a trilogy, in my opinion. Most of this read like a novella or epilogue...expect for a few plot points, which I honestly found to be really cliche and predictable. I think, if you love these characters and are just content to spend page time with them...any kind of page time, then you will probably enjoy this. But, if you want an actual 3rd novel, I don't think this one delivered. Also annoys me that we had to wait a year for this.

I did love the last chapter. I love how it all ended the way it started. I love when books do that. There was still plenty of steamy steam, although I didn't think any of it was near as hot as it was in the first two books. I don't know, maybe my tastes are changing. I have read a lot of M/M in the last year so it very well may be an, it's not you, it me kind of deal. I just know that after having just finished the book, instead of being on a reader's high like I was when I finished the first two books, I am instead feeling generally underwhelmed. :0(

I still adore these character and am curious to see what Ella Frank will do next. <3

And this dedication totally made me smile...

When I started reading this series, I didn't know how you could read six books about the same two men and not get bored in the middle. Now that I'm on my fourth book, and I'm literally obsessed with Tate and Logan, I believe I could read ten books or more about them

"Logan took a step up, stroked Tate’s cheek, and told him, “You make me so fucking happy. I had no idea I never was before.

"Logan finally said, and Tate felt his heart sink. “I’ll never see you that way again. Because before this, I didn’t know you were essential for me to feel alive.

They have a special place in my heart, despite the rough start I had with this series.

RATING: 4.5 Forever Logan and Tate Hearts!! <3 :D

Trust is the perfect conclusion to this sexy and highly entertaining series. Loved Tate and Logan in this one; their vulnerable sides exposed and of course their off the charts HOT sexual chemistry. My only very minor complaint, I would've loved an epilogue, but oh well, I can deal.

Going to miss my boys! <3 <3

Fave Quotes:

Before this, I didn't know you were essential for me to feel alive.

"You have something real with Tate, one might even say something of the forever kind."

"Come to me."
"Try to fucking stop me."

"Let me do this. Let me spoil you, love on you, and then we can go back to being ordinary. I promise. But this weekend, I want to show you how extraordinary you are to me."

"I had the jock, and he didn't live up to any fantasies I had in my head. As for the broody music student..."
"Yes?" Tate asked, loving the smile that spread across Logan's mouth before he answered.
"He far surpassed them all."

"What are you thinking?" Tate asked. "Tell me."
"What I was thinking...just might terrify you."
"Then, Logan, terrify me."

“There’s something about you... In the way you are. It pulls me in, Logan. I can’t imagine knowing you and not feeling it.

Thank you to my gorgeous friend, Suzanne! What a journey Logan and Tate were and our convos made them all the more fun! And remember, holding you to our secret pact. ;P

Trust is the third and final book in the Temptation series by Ella Frank. How much have Logan Mitchell and Tate Morrison evolved since Try.

I would never have believed that Logan the once cocky arrogant sleeps with anyone would turn into such a loving caring emotional man who wears his heart on his sleeve were Tate is concerned, there is nothing he won't do for Tate.

Tate has become this confident gay man who is happy and comfortable in his relationship with Logan and no longer scared of showing his feelings or PDA.

Trust is an emotional read at times as it made me cry (I don't cry often while reading). We still get plenty of steamy sexy moments between the guys and the usual dirty talk and funny banter which I have loved throughout this series. How they both deal with the trials of day to day life and family issues.

Trust is a fantastic finale to conclude Logan and Tate's story. I will miss the guys and they will always have a special place in my heart and they are my favourite gay couple as they were my first.

Here's what happens in this book: Everyone they come in to contact with wants them/lusts after them. They stare at each other while thinking how perfect they are for each other. They have sex, say lot's of "I love yous" and cry. They constantly look at each other in "dirty" & "filthy" ways. (and apparently I'm a big ole perv cuz I only found a few scenes dirty and none filthy and if you're going to use the word "depraved" I'm going to need A LOT more than a blow job in a parking garage). So that's it. That's what happens.

Ella Frank did what she did best for her Temptation series. Hmm... I wonder is this one of the hottest m/m read around, although I only read a handful. So my opinion is totally biased. Logan and Tate popped my m/m cherry after all. They are forever gonna be my favorite boys.

My favorite part of the book is definitely the smut. It was hot as fuck and it make me want to stream for gay porn just to have some visual aids. If I'm caught by my hubby, I know he is gonna be scarred for life. He is such a homophob.

On the other hand, I have to confess I was slightly disappointed with the plot. It lack of drama and conflict. Is not that I love unnecessary drama, but too much of those lovey dovey stuff felt repetitive. The reappearance of Logan's ex was downplayed as well. I was actually gearing for some bigger conflict with that asshole.

The event that took place at the 50% was a nice touch. It was such a Kleenex moment that lasted for awhile for me. I appreciate the cameo from the Exquisite clan as usual. Love seeing Mason, my favorite guy from that series. The ending was all wrapped up nicely with some touching moment. Everything is perfect for Logan and Tate. It felt sad to say goodbye to them. We had such a great fucking ride together.

Reread in June 2019 and LOVED it to pieces!!
The first time I've read this series I was new to the MM genre and as much as I adored it, I wasn't ready to write my thoughts.
After 3 years, rereading this story got me hooked again, and I just couldn't put it down. So much happens in this third book. We get more angst, we get some terrifying scenes, and unexpected guilt from a parent who before disowned Tate. I won't share more because it was a pleasure in discovering this story, again, on my own.
The ending was extremely sweet and I LOVE this couple SO much. It is a pleasure to follow Tate and Logan's story!
If by any chance you haven't read this series yet, try it and see if it's something you'd like. It's one of my all time favorites! The banter, the hotness and many unexpected turns. All the stars!

4.5 Tate & Logan STARS

I must say here and now, Logan and Tate are my favourite MM couple. I can't get enough of these two. This was the conclusion of this unforgettable couple.

Loved the growth and depth of these two. Especially the vulnerability of Logan and Tate's acceptance of himself and his relationship. This was emotional but also off the charts scorching!! I didn't even bother with panties. I'd learned my lesson from the last two books!

And of course, reading this with Maida was the cherry on top of this sublime deliciousness! Thanks sweets! xoxo

Sweet mother of Dirty Talk!
"See the corner of the mattress over there?"

Tate focused on the edge of the bed and wondered what he was getting at - then Logan told him.

"Feel free to bite it when I'm fucking you so hard your throat is hoarse from shouting."

Oh fuck. Trouble had most definitely found him, and its name was Logan Mitchell.
Who doesn't love a Happily Ever After for a fictional couple we've come to love? Logan and Tate's whirlwind romance reaches a lovely conclusion in the third book of the Temptation series...

Did it live up to my over-inflated expectations of smutty perfection? No, not really... But more on that later.

What this book DID do was prove that there is so much love backing up Tate and Logan's lust-riffic relationship. I got a little choked up with the warm fuzzies a few times while reading. Oh, and the heat level was absolutely on par with the previous books in the series... Maybe even more!

I might have drooled a little during one particular scene involving a wall of mirrors and Logan's fabulously filthy mouth...

LOGAN MITCHELL
"You make me so fucking happy. I had no idea I never was before.
Logan definitely stole the show in this book. His emotional journey buoyed this book when my enjoyment began to wane.

When we left off with the previous book, Logan was introducing Tate as his Partner and readers everywhere were doing a collective sigh of appreciation and may be a few fist-pumps too, because Logan falling in love was lovely to watch.

And he is so in love with Tate - If you had any doubts about Logan's emotional honesty, they will be completely alleviated with this book.

WILLIAM 'TATE' MORRISON
His desire to be close to Logan, to give everything over to him, should have been alarming, but the fact of the matter was it felt fucking incredible. Being with and wanting Logan were becoming as natural as breathing.
Tate is having a hard time finding his place in Logan's life - Logan seems to want to move their relationship along at the speed of light - no surprise there. Logan's a little bossy and not always in a good way.

Tate has plans and goals of his own which don't necessarily involve Logan's bed. He's working toward his ultimate goal of running his own bar.

I'm not going to detail all of Tate's struggles in this book because it would be monumentally spoiler-y, and that's not how I roll...

Logan succeeded in turning Tate's world upside down, and now they're learning to enjoy the new landscape together...

So here's where it gets tricky:

I think I put a lot of pressure on authors when they're producing finales, and maybe that's why I feel so conflicted...

This was a enjoyable read and a solid four-stars, but it didn't really live up to the previous books. Sure, it was full of warm fuzzies and hot sex (Because this is Logan and Tate, HELLO!), but overall I think this series came in like a lion and went out like a lamb...

While I was fairly satisfied with the way we left off, I think I ultimately wanted more from this book than it had to offer.

I felt like several punches were pulled when it came to tying up loose ends - especially with Tate's Mother and with Christopher Walker.

We were presented with these potential conflicts and they just sort of petered out. The second half of the book registered as rather flat and anticlimactic in that respect.

It's not that I thrive on drama or anything, but let's be honest - Readers like to watch couples overcome obstacles - It solidifies our belief that they will continue to thrive after we close the book.

was fluffy sweet and melt-your-kindle sexy.
It didn't grab my attention the way the first two books did, so my suggestion to my fellow Logan and Tate shippers:

Just roll with it...
This was still a fun read, I think I just wanted more from it, and maybe that's completely on me?

Oh well, I'm so glad I got to meet Logan and Tate and get to know them over these three books. I've really enjoyed watching their romance unfold into something which transcends the overwhelming lust on which it began.
